D'Onta Foreman Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Titans released RB Adrian Peterson. This could be the end of the road for the 36-year-old, who averaged just 3.0 yards on 27 attempts over the past 3 weeks. Tennessee will move forward with RBs D'Onta Foreman, Dontrelle Hilliard and Jeremy McNichols for as long as Derrick Henry is out.

NFL Network's James Palmer says "don't be surprised" if Titans RB D'Onta Foreman gains carries vs. the Saints "over Adrian Peterson." We thought Foreman looked better than Peterson in the season debut for each veteran back last week against the Rams. Of course, Tennessee faces the league's #1 defense in rushing DVOA, according to Football Outsiders. So neither RB is an exciting option for Week 10. Foreman looks like he carries more upside than Peterson.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Adrian Peterson is expected to be the Titans' lead back vs. the Rams tonight. Pelissero throws out a projection of "upwards of 15 touches" for Peterson. We're curious to see exactly what this Henry-less backfield looks like, with Jeremy McNichols and D'Onta Foreman also in the mix. We'd still consider Peterson just a RB3 or flex play for Week 9.

The Titans promoted RB D'Onta Foreman to the active roster. He signed to the practice squad on Tuesday, so he must have had a good week of practice. Foreman joins Jeremy McNichols and Adrian Peterson in Tennessee's backfield for Sunday night's game vs. the Rams.

The Titans waived RB Mekhi Sargent from the practice squad and replaced him with RB D'Onta Foreman. Foreman was a 3rd-rounder back in 2017 but has totaled just 29 carries since tearing his Achilles in November of his rookie year. He's unlikely to emerge as a fantasy factor but is at least worth monitoring in Tennessee's Henry-less backfield.

The Falcons released RB D'Onta Foreman. Atlanta is down to Mike Davis, Qadree Ollison and Cordarrelle Patterson at RB. We'll see if they add to the backfield over the next few days. But Davis is looking safer and safer as the team's clear lead back.

The Falcons signed RB D'Onta Foreman. The 89th pick of the 2017 draft was a promising prospect but hasn't done much since tearing his Achilles in November of his rookie season. He carried 22 times for 95 yards as a backup in Tennessee last year. We'll keep an eye on Foreman in a relatively wide-open depth chart in Atlanta, but he's a long shot for fantasy value.

Texans RB Lamar Miller (ankle) is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice. HC Bill O’Brien said Friday that Miller “has a chance” to play against the Eagles on Sunday. We’ll get his official status by noon ET. If Miller suits up, he’ll be a risk/reward RB2 at less than 100%. If not, Alfred Blue figures to serve as Houston’s lead back. RB D’Onta Foreman (Achilles) could also make his 2018 debut.
