But the latest revelation makes everything beyond Week 1 look iffy as well. Jason Wilde -- a longtime Packers writer -- reports that Reed's dealing with a Jones fracture in his left foot.

Packers QB Jordan Love is undergoing surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, GM Brian Gutekunst announced. Love banged the non-throwing thumb on a helmet in Green Bay's preseason opener on Saturday. Gutekunst called it a "little procedure" and said Love "shouldn't miss any regular-season time." He added that the team is hoping to get Love back at practice next week.
