It's relatively good news -- but still a bit ominous. Jacobs owners should be bracing for him to miss some time, but we should learn more tomorrow. RB Emanuel Wilson operated as Green Bay’s clear lead back after Jacobs exited, out-carrying RB Chris Brooks 11 to 0. Wilson tallied 40 yards and a score, adding 11 yards on his lone catch. He’s looking at a strong role if Jacobs misses more time, although the next two weeks bring tough matchups against the Vikings and Lions. That’s followed by a plus draw against the Bears.

The forecast for today's Packers-Giants game calls for sustained winds of 20 mph with gusts between 30-40 mph. That's enough to likely impact play-calling, as well as deep throws and longer kicks. We're downgrading both passing games in this one and would avoid both kickers. The over/under in this game has dipped from 43.5 on Thursday to 42.5.

The Green Bay Packers have placed RB MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) on injured reserve, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.

The Packers are expected to play their starters in Sunday's game against the Bears. They can move up from the No. 7 seed to the No. 6 seed with a win coupled with a Commanders loss. But RB Josh Jacobs admitted Thursday that he doesn't expect to handle his usual workload. "Just being honest, being realistic, I don't see me taking that many carries in this game," Jacobs said. "Obviously, I want to play. I'm going to push to play, and I'm playing. But I don't see myself taking 30 carries." Jacobs gets a Chicago defense sitting 25th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs, so even 12-15 carries could result in a strong fantasy outing. But there's no guarantee he even gets that much work. Jacobs is a risky Week 18 fantasy play.
