Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Ravens HC John Harbaugh said after Sunday's win over the Broncos that QB Lamar Jackson's knee injury is not season ending. "It's gonna be a number of days or weeks," Harbaugh added. Jackson is scheduled for additional testing on Monday, so we should learn more about his situation then. QB Tyler Huntley will take over for Baltimore for however long Jackson is out.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Broncos with a left knee injury. We'll update his status when we know more. QB Tyler Huntley will step in for Jackson.
Update: Jackson has been downgraded to out.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (quad) is not listed on the final Week 13 injury report. He was limited in Wednesday’s practice but a full-go on Thursday and Friday. The quad shouldn’t be an issue vs. the Broncos this weekend.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (quad) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. So it doesn't look like that quad will be an issue vs. the Broncos this weekend. Jackson is safe to keep in Week 13 fantasy lineups.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was limited in Wednesday's practice with a quad issue. A team spokesman said Jackson left practice early to get treatment on the quad. Jackson did not do his usual appearance with the media afterward. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson ran for 89 yards Sunday against the Jaguars to power a quality fantasy outing. He rushed a season-high 14 times and narrowly missed a 4th-quarter TD when tackled just short of the goal line. (RB Gus Edwards scored 2 plays later.) Jackson completed just half of his 32 pass attempts but tallied 254 yards, his 2nd largest total of the season. A 62-yard connection with WR DeSean Jackson helped, as did a 40-yarder to TE Josh Oliver. The latter led the team with 76 yards on 4 receptions, matching TE Mark Andrews for the team catch lead. Jackson caught 2 of 3 targets for 74 yards. WRs Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson combined for just 4 receptions and 40 yards. Baltimore gets a tougher Denver pass defense in Week 13.
Ravens TE Isaiah Likely has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars. He suffered an ankle injury in Friday's practice. Likely's absence probably just pushes an extra target or 2 Mark Andrews' way.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hip) is not listed on the final Week 12 injury report. He was sidelined on Wednesday but put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. Jackson said Friday that the hip issue is “getting better.” We’re not expecting it to be a significant issue in this weekend’s game vs. the Jaguars.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hip) returned to a full practice on Thursday. That ends any concern about his availability for Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson missed Wednesday's practice and is on the injury report with a hip. We don't have any other details, but HC John Harbaugh said that he expects Jackson to play vs. the Jaguars this weekend. Jackson, of course, has been underwhelming for a while now, and the hip issue doesn't help. We'll keep a close eye on his status over the next few days.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson threw for just 209 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT in Sunday's lackluster 13-3 win over the Panthers. Jackson also averaged just 2.8 yards across 11 rushing attempts, with a long run of 10. He has now cracked 20 fantasy points just twice in his past 7 games (depending on your scoring format). A Week 12 matchup with the Jaguars should be positive -- but so was Sunday's home date with Carolina. Jackson's running out of time to rebound before fantasy playoffs arrive.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) is active for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He missed Friday’s practice but should be a full go for this one.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) will play against the Panthers today. Jackson missed Friday's practice, but his availability for this one never seemed to be in question. Jackson is safe to use as you normally would in fantasy lineups.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Panthers after missing Friday’s practice with an illness. HC John Harbaugh said that Jackson is fully expected to play, but his status is worth checking on when we get Baltimore’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.
Ravens WR Demarcus Robinson (groin) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Saints. He was added to the injury report on Friday and did not practice on Saturday, so he seems truly iffy for this one. Robinson tallied season highs with 8 targets, 6 catches and 64 yards last week but wasn't a bankable Week 9 fantasy play even before this injury. His absence would leave the Ravens with WRs Devin Duvernay, James Proche, Tylan Wallace and DeSean Jackson, who's expected to make his debut in this one.
The Buccaneers have ruled out CB Carlton Davis (hip) and DB Antoine Winfield Jr. (concussion). That certainly helps the matchup for Ravens QB Lamar Jackson and his pass-catchers. Winfield has spent more time at slot CB than safety so far this season. So these absences are especially helpful to WR Devin Duvernay and TE Mark Andrews. Duvernay and Davis have each primarily run on the same side of the formation, and Andrews remains Baltimore's biggest threat from the slot. We'll see whether Andrews and WR Rashod Bateman play through their "questionable" designations. Bateman did put in a full practice Wednesday, while Andrews hasn't practiced this week.
