Lamar Jackson Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hip) is not listed on the final injury report. He was limited on Wednesday but put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. The hip isn’t a concern heading into this weekend’s game vs. the Browns.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hip) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. He'll be ready to rock for this weekend's game vs. the Browns.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was limited on Wednesday and is on the injury report with a hip. We've heard nothing to suggest that this is a real issue, but we'll keep an eye on Jackson over the next few days.

The Ravens signed WR DeSean Jackson to the practice squad. The 35-year-old caught just 20 balls across 16 games with the Rams and Raiders last year, although he still averaged 22.7 yards per catch. Assuming he eventually lands on the active roster, Jackson figures to be a part-time, situational deep threat for Baltimore. We wouldn't bother adding him to fantasy rosters, but he could be a slight boost for QB Lamar Jackson.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson threw for just 144 yards and a TD in Sunday's rain-soaked loss to the Bills, adding a pair of INTs. WR Rashod Bateman led the team in targets (6) but caught just 3 balls for 17 yards. TE Mark Andrews managed only 2 receptions for 15 yards among 5 targets. WR Devin Duvernay matched that target count and caught 4 passes for a team-high 51 yards. Jackson rebounded his fantasy line somewhat with 73 rushing yards on 11 attempts.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson delivered 218 yards and 4 TDs passing plus 107 yards and a TD on the ground in Sunday's 37-26 win over the Patriots. Jackson tossed 3 TDs against the blitz for the 2nd straight week, according to NFL Next Gen Stats, and leads all QBs in passing EPA (expected points added) vs. the blitz this season. He leads all QBs in fantasy scoring through 3 weeks.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (right elbow) is not listed on the final Week 3 injury report. After being limited on Wednesday, he put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. We’re not expecting the elbow to be an issue vs. the Patriots this weekend.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (elbow) was listed as a full participant on Thursday. That presumably means he threw as he normally would. Jackson is on track to play vs. the Patriots on Sunday and seems safe to use you fantasy lineups.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was limited in Wednesday's practice and is on the injury report with a right elbow. Jackson had a protective sleeve on his right arm, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley, and told the media afterward that he didn't throw at all during practice. But neither Jackson nor HC Jim Harbaugh expressed any concern about the QB's availability for Sunday's game vs. the Patriots. “I’m going to throw Sunday – a lot Sunday,” Jackson said. We'll continue to keep an eye on this, but Jackson can stay penciled into Week 3 fantasy lineups.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson delivered big numbers in Sunday's come-from-ahead loss to the Dolphins. He ran for 119 yards on 9 attempts, with most of that coming via his 79-yard TD dash in the 3rd quarter. Jackson also racked up 318 yards and 3 TDs through the air, finding TE Mark Andrews, WR Rashod Bateman and WR Demarcus Robinson for scores. Bateman (4-108) and Andrews (9-104) each delivered big lines, combining to claim 62% of Jackson's targets for the game.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson managed just 213 yards passing and 17 more on the ground in Sunday's 24-9 victory at the Jets. But he made up for it with 3 TD throws. Jackson found WR Devin Duvernay for scores from 25 and 17 yards out and hit WR Rashod Bateman for a 55-yard score in the 3rd quarter. Baltimore heads back home to face Miami in Week 2.

"I think it's the best I've ever seen him throw it thus far," Ravens OC Greg Roman said Friday about QB Lamar Jackson. Roman, of course, has been Baltimore's coordinator for the past 3 seasons, and has thus watched plenty of Jackson passes. He also noted the QB's increased strength, as we've passed along here previously. "He's really worked hard in the offseason, and it's showing," Roman added. "We're all very excited." Fantasy football players have already seen the vaulted ceiling that Jackson possesses. Consider him an elite QB option as you draft.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has packed on about 15 pounds this offseason and looks noticeably bigger in the upper body. "I just wanted to do it, see how it looks and see how it feels," Jackson said. "And I feel good." We'll see if Jackson decides to play the season at the 220 pounds he's currently at. It'd probably help his mobility while hopefully not sapping him of any speed.

QB Lamar Jackson shared that he’s hopeful he can reach a long-term deal with the Ravens by training camp. “I'm not going to say 'yeah' right now,” Jackson said regarding a potential agreement. “Hopefully. But it's God's timing.” Talks are ongoing — and remember that Jackson is negotiating a new contract without an agent. Ultimately, Jackson's contract situation isn't a reason to value him differently in 2022 drafts. He's a clear-cut top-5 fantasy passer.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson reported to mandatory minicamp on Monday. This was always the expectation, but Jackson, 25, remains without a long-term extension. According to PFT’s Myles Simmons, Jackson “has not yet engaged the club in meaningful contract talks.” Note that the QB is representing himself in contract negotiations.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson's ankle "feels great," HC John Harbaugh said Monday. Jackson ended up missing the final 4 games of the season with a bone bruise to that ankle, but it shouldn't impact his offseason.

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley will start Sunday's game vs. the Steelers, HC John Harbaugh said Friday. QB Lamar Jackson still isn't able to play on that ankle injury. Huntley has finished QB18, QB1 and QB21 in fantasy points in 3 starts this season.
