Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Jets LB Quincy Williams (calf) and DE John Franklin-Myers (hip) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Both players followed limited Wednesday and Thursday participation with a full Friday workout and should be ready to go. We'll confirm their statuses Sunday morning.
Jets LB C.J. Mosley (shoulder) is active for today's game against the Texans. Use him as planned in IDP lineups. EDGE John Franklin-Myers (hip) is also active.
Jets LB C.J. Mosley left Sunday's game against the Dolphins for a concussion evaluation early in the 4th quarter and did not return. We have yet to see confirmation that he has entered the concussion protocol but will keep an eye out. LB Quincy Williams reclaimed his starting job from Jarrad Davis in the game and looks like a solid bet for playing time in the Week 12 visit to Houston.
Jets S Marcus Maye limped off the field in the 2nd half of Thursday night's loss to the Colts, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the team fears he suffered a torn right Achilles' tendon. "It's not looking good," HC Robert Saleh said after the game. Assuming that injury is confirmed -- as they almost always are -- Sharrod Neasman looks like the next man up in the Jets secondary.
Jets LB C.J. Mosley (hamstring) is active for today's game against the Bengals. Use him as you planned to in your IDP lineups. S Ashtyn Davis is also active after entering the day questionable.
The Jets have activated LB Jarrad Davis off IR. He has been out since August with an ankle injury. We'll see what role Davis plays but would not trust him in IDP lineups immediately.
ESPN's Rich Cimini reports that the Jets will be activating LB Jarrad Davis (ankle) off IR for Sunday's game against the Bengals. We'll see how much playing time he gets.
Jets LB C.J. Mosley (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. ESPN's Rich Cimini reports that he's "expected to play barring any setbacks." We'll check Mosley's status Sunday morning.
The Jets entered Sunday's game against the Patriots with LB C.J. Mosley (hamstring) inactive and Jarrad Davis (ankle) not yet back from IR. The defense then watched LBs Jamien Sherwood (calf), Quincy Williams (concussion) and Blake Cashman (groin) leave the game. We'll have to watch the whole situation to see who's in for next Sunday's game against the Bengals. If healthy, Mosley should remain a full-time starter. Davis' return would complicate the outlook for Williams, though.
As expected, Jets LB C.J. Mosley is inactive for today's game against the Patriots. He hit the weekend doubtful after missing practice all week with a hamstring injury. There was at least 1 beat report that called him a game-time decision this morning, but we removed the LB from our Week 7 rankings Friday night. Expect Quincy Williams to lead Jets LBs today.
Jets S Marcus Maye looks ready to go for Sunday's game against the Patriots. He sat out the past 2 games with an ankle injury but returned to practice coming off the bye. He finished the week with 2 full workouts and carries no injury status into the game. We've had Maye high in our Week 7 DB rankings in anticipation of his return.
Jets LB C.J. Mosley is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Patriots with a hamstring injury. His absence could push Del'Shawn Phillips into starting duty. Quincy Williams is the only Jets LB we're looking to use in IDP lineups this week, though.
Jets LB C.J. Mosley missed practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury. HC Robert Saleh told the team website that he hopes Mosley will be able to play Sunday against the Patriots. We'll keep an eye on the veteran's status throughout the week. Elsewhere on the defense: The Jets don't expect to activate LB Jarrad Davis (ankle) off IR this week. That keeps Quincy Williams in the starting lineup and an upside spot for tackle collection. S Marcus Maye returned to practice Wednesday after missing the past 2 games with an ankle injury. it's not yet clear, though, whether he'll be ready for Sunday's game, according to the team website.
Jets HC Robert Saleh said Monday that it the chance he gets S Marcus Maye and LB Jarrad Davis back for Sunday's game against the Patriots "looks promising." Maye missed the past 2 games with an ankle injury. Davis has been on IR since the start of the season following an August ankle injury. We'll keep an eye on their statuses this week. Maye was a full-timer through the 1st 3 weeks and would be a risk/reward IDP option if he's in the Week 7 lineup. We'd try not to use Davis in what will be his 1st game with the Jets.
Jets HC Robert Saleh says he hopes to get LB Jarrad Davis back from IR after the Week 6 bye. Davis has been out since the preseason with an ankle injury. He was wearing the green dot and calling defensive plays before he went down, though. We'll see whether Davis can reclaim his job from Quincy Williams upon return.
Jets S Marcus Maye is expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks with an ankle injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jarrod Wilson looks like the next man up, though the Jets are also getting S Ashtyn Davis back from IR this week. We'll see about the replacement plan at safety.
