Troy Franklin Bounces Back As Broncos Offense Rolls

After a four-game slide where it appeared that Troy Franklin had lost his status as Denver's No. 2 WR, a hamstring injury suffered by Pat Bryant opened the door for Franklin to reassert himself as an integral part of Denver's passing attack. And he took advantage of the opportunity. Franklin caught all 6 of his targets for 85 yards and 1 TD in Denver's 34-26 win over the Green Bay Packers.

Pat Bryant Out For Week 15

        11:42pm UTC 12/12/25

Broncos WR Pat Bryant (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. He didn’t practice all week, so this could turn into a multi-week absence. WRs Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims should see more playing time with Bryant sidelined. See where those guys land in the Week 15 WR rankings.

Pat Bryant Not Expected To Play Week 15

        11:06pm UTC 12/11/25

Broncos WR Pat Bryant (hamstring) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. Insider Ben Allbright does not expect Bryant to play vs. the Packers this weekend. The rookie has emerged as Denver's No. 2 WR, but his absence would boost Troy Franklin back into that role and Marvin Mims into the No. 3 spot on the depth chart.

        Troy Franklin's in Trouble

        4:01pm UTC 12/8/25

The past two weeks have seen Broncos WR Troy Franklin go from challenging Courtland Sutton's lead-target status to barely involved in the passing game. He followed a Week 13 dip in usage by running a season-low 17 routes in Sunday's win over the Raiders. That marked just a 39.5% rate vs. Denver's 43 dropbacks. Franklin still ranked third among Broncos WRs in that category but trailed well behind No. 2 Pat Bryant (67.4%) and narrowly led No. 4 Marvin Mims Jr. (34.9%). Franklin ranked fifth among Denver wideouts in total snaps, trailing -- in order -- Sutton, Bryant, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, and Mims.

Marvin Mims Back For Week 11

        1:35am UTC 11/15/25

Broncos WR Marvin Mims (concussion) was a full-go in practice all week and is off the final injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs and figures to split No. 3 WR duties with Pat Bryant. Neither is a viable fantasy play.

Marvin Mims Out For Week 10

        1:25am UTC 11/6/25

Broncos WR Marvin Mims (concussion) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Raiders. He got in limited practices on Tuesday and Wednesday but wasn't able to clear protocol. Rookie Pat Bryant will operate as Denver's No. 3 WR for the second straight game but is only in play in single-game daily contests.

Marvin Mims Out For Week 9

        12:45am UTC 11/1/25

Broncos WR Marvin Mims (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans. Pat Bryant should see a boost in snaps as Denver’s No. 3 WR, but the rookie isn’t a recommended fantasy starter against a tough secondary.

        Marvin Mims Has Concussion

        12:14am UTC 10/27/25

Broncos WR Marvin Mims sustained a concussion in Sunday’s win over the Cowboys, according to The Denver Post’s Troy Renck. It’s Mims' first documented concussion but leaves him iffy for Week 9. He’s been operating as Denver’s No. 3 WR, averaging 4.0 targets per game. Mims’ absence would likely mean a boost in snaps for rookie WR Pat Bryant.

Marvin Mims Questionable For Week 4

        12:28am UTC 9/28/25

Broncos WR Marvin Mims (hip) is questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Bengals. He was added to the injury report on Friday and limited in practice. Mims should not be in Week 4 fantasy lineups. His absence would free up extra routes for WRs Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant, and Trent Sherfield.

        6:33pm UTC 7/25/25

Broncos rookie WR Pat Bryant drew rave reviews in the first few days of Broncos training camp. His ability to get open and create easy throws for QB Bo Nix was on display. He was also noted for his soft hands and may be earning his way to playing time as a third-round rookie.

"Very explosive off the line of scrimmage, very competitive, very tough," Payton said of Bryant, who was selected by Denver in Round 3. "His size and his hands are outstanding. He’s physical."
