Rams Elevating TE Share of Pass Offense

        8:48pm UTC 11/3/25

If you watch the Rams regularly, then you might have noticed tight ends occupying more screen time in recent weeks. The team has increased its usage of "13" personnel (three TEs) and significantly increased the number of targets heading toward TEs in recent games. Four Rams tight ends caught at least two passes in Sunday's win over the Saints. Rookie Terrance Ferguson led the group (and ranked third on the team) with 54 receiving yards. Tyler Higbee snagged one of Matthew Stafford's 4 TD passes, Higbee's second scoring catch in three games.

        Tyler Higbee Usable Again?

        4:29am UTC 10/13/25

After missing Week 5 with a hip injury, Rams TE Tyler Higbee returned in Week 6 for a 4-40-1 stat line. He led the team in TE snaps at 66%. TEs Davis Allen (39.6%) and Terrance Ferguson (32.1%) were well behind. With WR Puka Nacua on and off the field throughout the game with injury, Higbee had a solid role while catching all of his targets.

Tyler Higbee Doubtful For Week 5

        8:53pm UTC 10/1/25

Rams TE Tyler Higbee (hip) is listed as doubtful for Thursday night's game vs. the 49ers. He leads Los Angeles' TEs with a 64% route rate this season but has totaled just 11 targets on an 8.0% share. Rams TEs as a group have accounted for just 14.6% of the team's targets. Davis Allen, Colby Parkinson, and Terrance Ferguson will share TE duties against San Francisco, but none is a viable Week 5 fantasy play.

Tyler Higbee, Rams TEs Worthless Now; But Is There a Long-Term Buy?

        12:14am UTC 9/22/25

If you thought Tyler Higbee's 4-catch Week 2 signaled ascending fantasy value, then you were mistaken. Higbee easily led Rams tight ends in route rate for Sunday's loss at Philadelphia, and it didn't matter at all. He drew just two targets, caught neither, and watched his whole position group combine for just 1 reception. Rams TEs have totaled 9 receptions through three games.

Rams Snag Terrance Ferguson in Round 2

        12:17am UTC 4/26/25

The Rams selected Oregon TE Terrance Ferguson in Round 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Ferguson improved his production in each of his four college seasons, culminating with a 43-591-3 line this past year. His 16.3% Dominator Rating ranked 12th among 21 Combine TEs, but his 2.02 yards per route was good for fifth. Ferguson was mostly a short-range target at Oregon (6.7-yard career aDOT) but averaged a strong 7.0 yards after catch per reception for his career, including 9.0 last year. Ferguson helped himself at the Combine with a 9.32 Relative Athletic Score. He clocked a 4.63-second 40 time with a 39-inch vertical at 6’5, 247 pounds.

Terrance Ferguson Boosts Stock At Combine

        1:07pm UTC 3/1/25

Oregon TE Terrance Ferguson led all TEs with a 4.63-second forty time at the Combine on Friday night. The 6'5, 247-pounder also recorded a strong 39-inch vertical and 10'2 broad jump.
