        No Surgery For Aaron Rodgers

        No Surgery For Aaron Rodgers

Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers will not need surgery on his broken left wrist, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. HC Mike Tomlin, meanwhile, said that Rodgers will not practice on Wednesday and will likely test that wrist on Friday. It sounds like we won't get a good update on Rodgers until then, but he seemingly has a real chance to play against the Bears this weekend.

Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers (wrist) is "pushing to play" and is considered "50/50" for Sunday's game vs. the Bears, a source tells NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rodgers broke a bone in his left wrist in the Week 11 win over the Bengals. That's his non-throwing side, though, and Rodgers could be able to play if he's able to grip the ball and avoid making the injury worse. Rodgers is undergoing additional tests on the wrist on Monday. We'll keep you updated on his status throughout the week. QB Mason Rudolph will get the start if Rodgers is unable to play.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a "small fracture" in his left wrist in Sunday's win over the Bengals. That sounds bad, but he adds that "the initial believe is it's nothing long term."
