The Jaguars released RB Carlos Hyde. This move was a lock with HC Urban Meyer no longer in Jacksonville. The 31-year-old Hyde mustered just 3.5 yards per carry on 72 attempts last year. He's a long shot to emerge as a significant contributor in 2022.

Jaguars RB James Robinson (heel, knee) "plans to try to play" vs. the Rams today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. "He has been hobbled for weeks now, but was feeling better Saturday," Schefter adds. Robinson has been dealing with the heel and knee injuries since mid-November, but it sounds like he's in worse shape this week. Consider him just a low-end RB2 for Week 13. And if you're planning to use him, it'd make sense to have RB Carlos Hyde rostered in case Robinson ends up inactive.
