Legette was selected with the final pick of the first round, but starting his NFL career as a 23-year-old is not ideal.

Being handpicked by the new coaching staff for the Mike Evans role in Dave Canales’ offense is exciting, but the Panthers are unlikely to be a high-powered offense.

• Legette is unlikely to out-target WR Diontae Johnson. We’ll see if the rookie can push past Adam Thielen for the No. 2 WR job.
