49ers K Jake Moody is expected to miss multiple weeks with a high-ankle sprain suffered in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, HC Kyle Shanahan said. Moody can be dropped from all fantasy rosters. We'll see who the 'Niners bring in as his replacement. They have a short turnaround to Thursday night's game vs. the Seahawks.

Niners rookie K Jake Moody will miss the team's preseason finale with a right quad strain. He's considered day-to-day, according to multiple reports. Doesn't sound like the injury is a big deal, and we wouldn't bet on the third-round pick getting cut in favor of Zane Gonzalez. But a kicking-leg injury is probably enough to mean you shouldn't draft Moody this weekend at least. We'll see about the coming week.
