Chiefs DT Chris Jones did not show up among the inactives for today's game against the Ravens. That at least indicates the team still expects him to make it back in time to play. Jones had to fly back from his aunt's funeral in Mississippi this afternoon and has been expected to land about 45 minutes before kickoff. Seems like we can keep Jones in IDP lineups where he makes sense.

The Chiefs have agreed to a three-year deal with LB Nick Bolton. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the contract is worth $45 million, with $30 million of that fully guaranteed. That keeps Bolton from reaching unrestricted free agency.

The Chiefs have listed these defensive starters as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos: DT Chris Jones, CB Trent McDuffie, LB Nick Bolton, Edge George Karlaftis, S Justin Reid, and LB Drue Tranquill. Jones and McDuffie are listed with injuries, but they're likely sitting out for the same reason as the others: because K.C. doesn't need this game. It's tough to know what the snap shares will look like for other defenders.
