The NFL's Jeff Miller said Thursday that the league continues to monitor the legal developments surrounding Chiefs WR Rashee Rice. Brian McCarthy, who heads up the league's PR department, added that Rice will not be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list "unless there is a material change in the case.”
Rice's next court date is scheduled for December 9, a day after the Chiefs' Week 14 game. It sounds like there will be no suspension before then -- and it's looking more and more like Rice won't be suspended at all this season.
We recently bumped Rice up the WR rankings. He could wind up as a big value from his sixth-round ADP. Rice ranked fourth among WRs in PPR points over his final six regular-season games last year.
