Drake London Target Share Improves; Late TD Boosts

Drake London tallied 6 receptions for 54 yards and a TD in Monday night's win at Philadelphia. His 7 targets tied for the team lead and constituted 24% of QB Kirk Cousins' pass attempts for the game. London's fantasy line would have looked much worse, however, without a 7-yard TD catch near the end of regulation.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Immediately after London saw just 3 targets in the opening loss to the Steelers, HC Raheem Morris said they needed to get him the ball more.

The Falcons ultimately accomplished that, though it's worth noting that the passing performance wasn't all good at Philly.

Cousins hit halftime with just 75 yards on 7-of-13 passing. London's 3 targets in that frame tied WR Darnell Mooney for the team lead, while WR Ray-Ray McCloud matched him on receptions and led London in yards.

For the game, London and Mooney tied in targets, while London averaged just 9.0 yards per catch.

Cousins did rebound for 166 yards in the second half, including 70 on the final scoring drive alone. If Atlanta can more commonly get close to that level of effectiveness, then London (and others) will certainly benefit.

As it is, London remains a fairly easy fantasy starter for a Week 3 home date with the Chiefs.
