Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill couldn’t overcome an ugly QB situation in Week 3. Skylar Thompson was knocked out of the game in the third quarter, replaced by third-stringer Tim Boyle. In total, Hill caught 3 of 5 targets for 40 scoreless yards.

What They're Saying

Here’s HC Mike McDaniel on Hill after the loss.

“This team needs him… I got to do a better job of getting him the ball and we’ve got to do a better job staying on the field so we can get our playmakers the ball.”

Hill's 5 targets tied De'Von Achane and Jaylen Waddle for the team lead.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Miami averaged a paltry 3.7 yards per play on a day that turned up only 3 points.

Thompson went down with a chest injury in the third quarter. Boyle looked competent on limited reps, but this is still the worst QB situation in the league with Tua Tagovailoa out. There remains no timetable for his return from a concussion.

Hill's a tough sell now, as he's unlikely to fetch the type of value you'd want. But it's time to adjust expectations for the top-five fantasy pick.

He'll look to rebound against a beatable Titans secondary in Week 4.
