Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 26 of 39 passes for 217 yards, two TDs and an INT. It was Mahomes best fantasy performance of the season since he did add 17 yards on the ground as well.
Though still not a dominant performance, it gives hope for Mahomes to return to dominant fantasy numbers very soon. His connection with WR Rashee Rice was obvious against the Falcons and will continue.
He has a positive match-up against the Chargers next week while a tough Saints pass defense awaits before the Chiefs head into their Week 6 bye.
