Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 306 yards and 1 TD in a Week 13 win over Las Vegas. His 56.5% completion rate marked a season-low.
The real storyline here was Vegas’ ability to pressure Mahomes.
The future Hall of Famer faced pressure on 34.6% of his dropbacks and took five sacks for the second straight week. The Chiefs still have a major issue at LT, and we’ll see if recent signing D.J. Humphries can change that down the stretch.
Mahomes’ lone TD went to Justin Watson on an end zone ball. Later, he nearly hit DeAndre Hopkins in the back of the end zone, but the WR wasn’t able to get two feet in bounds.
Mahomes will look for a more complete outing next week vs. the Chargers. He tallied 245-1-1 against them back in Week 4.
