Chiefs HC Andy Reid said after Sunday's win over the Browns that QB Patrick Mahomes is "day-to-day" with his ankle injury. The ankle is not broken, Reid added. It sounds like Mahomes dodged a significant injury, although he has one fewer day to get ready for Saturday afternoon's game vs. Texans.
