Patrick Mahomes Finally Puts Up Elite Fantasy Numbers

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes waited until the fantasy championship, but he rewarded those who started him, completing 29 of 38 passes for 320 yards and three TDs. His success made TE Travis Kelce and WR Xavier Worthy very viable, even against the near elite Steelers defense.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

The Chiefs have clinched home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, so they will likely sit down most of their key players for Week 18.

If you have a Week 18 championship, don't rely on any major players like Mahomes, Kelce and Worthy.

The Chiefs have plenty of momentum going into the NFL Playoffs with the offense starting to come alive.

The defense, without Chris Jones also performed above expectations against the Steelers this week.

Though they gave up over 140 yards rushing, they tightened up in the red zone.

With many concerned about the Chiefs potential for another Super Bowl run, everything is falling into place for them to potentially make a run.

Next seasons value on the Chiefs offensive players will be hotly debated.

Though Mahomes had a down season, his talent is immeasurable, and he likely will be drafted as a mid-range QB1 in redrafts next season.

Xavier Worthy is showing consistency late in the season as the clear WR1 on the team, so expect his ADP to factor that in.
