        Week 10 FanDuel Picks

Top Plays for FanDuel Head-to-Head and 50/50 Contests

Here are the guys I’m considering for FanDuel Week 10 head-to-heads and 50/50s:

        Week 10

        Cash Game Quarterback

Justin Herbert, Chargers ($6,900) vs. Titans

Herbert’s reached 2 passing TDs or 300+ passing yards in three straight. The solid stretch coincides with a noticable rise in the Bolts’ pass rate over expectation

Meanwhile, the Titans enter the weekend without top CB L'Jarius Sneed, who’s out with a quad injury.

Also in my player pool: Aaron Rodgers

        Tournament Quarterback

Brock Purdy, 49ers ($8,100) at Buccaneers

Purdy exits a bye week alongside a now-healthy Christian McCaffrey. Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings are expected to be full-gos after dealing with injuries prior to the bye.

The Bucs have allowed the most fantasy points to QBs over the past five weeks. And per Next Gen Stats, their average separation allowed is a league-high 4.1 yards.

Also in my player pool: Josh Allen, Kyler Murray

        Cash Game Running Back

Alvin Kamara, Saints ($8,500) vs. Atlanta

The Saints offense is thin heading into Sunday.

        They’ll be without:

        -Chris Olave

        -Rashid Shaheed

        -Bub Means

        -Cedrick Wilson

        -Kendre Miller

        -Jamaal Williams

Kamara’s coming off a 35-touch day against the Panthers and hit 26 against Atlanta earlier this season. That touch range remains in play for Week 10.

Aaron Jones, Vikings ($7,900) at Jaguars

Jones has just one TD since the opener, but Sunday sets up as a nice spot for fantasy production.

The Vikings enter as 6.5-point favorites, implied for nearly 25 points.

Jacksonville has allowed 12 total RB TDs – a top-five mark. They also enter having allowed the second-most catches to opposing RBs.

Also in my player pool: Saquon Barkley

        Tournament Running Back

Bijan Robinson, Falcons ($8,500) at Saints

Only five RBs have topped Robinson’s 173 total touches. He projects for another 18-20+ touches this week against a Saints squad decimated by injuries.

Per Next Gen Stats, the Saints allow 2.35 rush yards before contact per carry -- the highest mark league-wide. They’re the sixth-friendliest fantasy matchup according to FanDuel’s scoring.

James Cook, Bills ($7,800) at Colts

The Colts are the league’s biggest run-funnel defense.

In other words: Opposing offenses have opted to run on them more than any other team. Through Week 9, the Colts’ pass rate over expected against is south of -7.5%.

Cook, of course, has flashed the high ceiling you like in a tournament RB. Through Week 9, he’s hit 16+ FD points four times.

Also in my player pool: Jahmyr Gibbs, Rhamondre Stevenson, D’Andre Swift

        Cash Game Wide Receivers

Ladd McConkey, Chargers ($6,300) vs. Titans

It’s certainly not necessary to stack in cash games, but it happens organically this week with McConkey underpriced.

The rookie has delivered a 24% target share on the season, boosted by spikes of 28% and 30%. He’s hit 4+ catches in six straight. While McConkey primarily plays in the slot (~68% of the time), he should also benefit from the Titans missing top CB L'Jarius Sneed.

DeAndre Hopkins, Chiefs ($6,000) vs. Broncos

The matchup vs. Denver isn’t great. The Broncos sit ninth-toughest against fantasy WRs, applying FanDuel’s scoring.

Clearly, though, Hopkins’ price doesn’t reflect his rising role (and production) alongside Patrick Mahomes.

After tallying a 33% route rate and a 9% target share in his K.C. debut, those figures jumped to 69% and 21%, respectively, on Monday night. His discounted price tag helps you capture the high upside RBs above.

Also in my player pool: Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams, Khalil Shakir

        Tournament Wide Receivers

Garrett Wilson, Jets ($7,900) at Cardinals

The Cardinals might be without S Jalen Thompson on Sunday. If so, that’d mean a larger role for rookie Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, who’s played only 31 coverage snaps all season.

Ultimately, the Jets will continue learning on Wilson and Davante Adams. Allen Lazard is out, while Tyler Conklin is now questionable.

George Pickens, Steelers ($7,000) at Commanders

The Commanders recently acquired CB Marshon Lattimore, but he’s not yet ready to return from a hamstring injury.

Pickens, meanwhile, has remained a prominent downfield weapon alongside Russell Wilson. In fact, his average depth of target (aDOT) is over 15 yards in two Wilson starts. Now coming off a bye, Pittsburgh enters a solid matchup for boosted pass volume. The upstart Commanders are installed as 3-point home favorites.

Also in my player pool: Justin Jefferson, Rome Odunze, Darnell Mooney, Marvin Harrison Jr., Calvin Ridley

        Cash Game Tight End

Cade Otton, Buccaneers ($6,400) vs. 49ers

        Volume. Volume. Volume.

Otton enters Week 10 with 31 targets over his past three. That level of involvement is within reach this week with Mike Evans (hamstring) sidelined.

        Tournament Tight End

Dalton Kincaid, Bills ($6,000) at Colts

Kincaid isn’t a comfortable cash play given his underwhelming performance to date. He’s just the TE12 in FD scoring.

However, this week looks friendly on ceiling. The Bills have already ruled out Keon Coleman. Amari Cooper is questionable with a wrist.

That should boost Kincaid’s involvement against a Colts defense allowing the fourth-most yards per game. Also note: Buffalo is implied for a strong 25.25 points.

Also in my player pool: Taysom Hill

        Defense

Detroit Lions ($4,000) at Houston Texans

The Lions draw a Texans O-line that just allowed eight C.J. Stroud sacks vs. the Jets.

We’ll see if the Lions activate newly acquired EDGE Za'Darius Smith. But game script should allow for boosted pass rush opportunities, as the Lions are 3.5-point favorites.

Houston might also be without Tank Dell and/or Nico Collins.

Also in my player pool: Patriots
