According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Browns are expected to open the practice window for RB Nick Chubb (knee) this week. Once the team makes that move, they'll have three weeks to promote him to the active roster.
There's no target return date at this time. But per Schefter, Chubb will be "counted on to contribute at some point in the near future."
It’s fair to wonder how effective Chubb will be after a pair of knee surgeries. Still, the 28-year-old should remain stashed in all fantasy leagues. Interestingly, he’s available in nearly 25% of ESPN leagues.
Jerome Ford currently leads the Browns in carries with 29 -- 13 ahead of D'Onta Foreman. If and when Chubb gets up to speed, Ford will be a drop candidate in shallow formats. Foreman's only worth holding now in deep leagues.
