Alec Pierce Shines In Down Day For Colts WRs

Jonathan Taylor carried the Colts' offense in Berlin, but WR Alec Pierce had another solid day, leading Indy's receiving corps in targets (7), catches (4), yards (84), and securing QB Daniel Jones's only TD pass. Pierce, who leads the NFL with an average of 20.9 yards per catch, has now averaged 91.5 receiving yards over his last four outings.

        2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Pierce was the only WR that made any notable impact in the Colts' OT win.

Michael Pittman had his lowest output of the season, setting season-low marks in every category. Pittman only drew 2 targets against a Falcons' secondary that has done a solid job against WRs all season.

We can chalk that up to a bad day at the office for Pittman, or stellar coverage by Atlanta's young secondary, but Josh Downs's usage is more of a concern.

Downs played a season-low 46.7% of the Colts' snaps and caught 1 pass for 3 yards on 2 targets. Prior to Week 10, Downs had been on the field for 65% of Indianapolis' snaps and had an 18% target share.

The Colts employed more 12 personnel against Atlanta. Mo Alie-Cox played 35 snaps, his most since 6. Additionally, Tyler Warren led the team in targets (10), receptions (8), and yards (99).

Hopefully, this was a just an isolated bad day at the office for Pittman and Downs.

However, Pierce continues to be an underrated fantasy asset. If you read our Week 10 waiver wire piece and added Pierce, you benefited from his third double-digit PPR finish in the last four weeks.

Pierce should continue to play a big role on the NFL's No. 1 offense. He should be viewed as a weekly WR3 moving forward.

The Colts have a bye next week.
