Marvin Harrison Out Week 11, Maybe Longer, After Appendicitis

Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison underwent surgery for appendicitis and will be out for Sunday's game against the 49ers and potentially longer, according to both NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter. We'll look for a more concrete target for Harrison's return, but he's worth keeping stashed in all fantasy leagues for now.

2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Harrison is in the midst of another underwhelming season, but this is still a big loss for Arizona's passing game. Harrison has accounted for:

19.5% of Arizona's targets
16.6% of the receptions
28.8% of the receiving yards
28.6% of the receiving scores

Harrison's absence leaves Michael Wilson as Arizona's top WR. Zay Jones suffered a season-ending Achilles injury last week, while Simi Fehoko is expected to miss time with an arm injury. That leaves Greg Dortch and Xavier Weaver as the only other healthy WRs on the active roster.

Wilson turns into a potential WR3 for however long Harrison is out. He gets the 49ers' 18th-ranked WR defense this week.

Of course, TE Trey McBride will continue to be the engine of this passing game. But Harrison's absence is a significant knock on QB Jacoby Brissett's fantasy value.
