Vikings RB Jordan Mason ran for a 16-yard TD early in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Bears. But he ran just five other times in a game that found Aaron Jones dominating backfield work for the second straight week. Mason totaled 45 yards on six rushes, with no targets in the passing game. Jones tallied 70 rushing yards on 16 carries, adding 3 receptions for 11 yards on six targets.

Mason played just nine total snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. That included a mere three pass routes. Jones played 37 snaps (67.3%) and ran 18 routes.
That snap share didn't even set a season high. He hit 71% in Week 10 and played an even larger share in the first half of Week 9 before leaving that game early with a shoulder injury.
That's three straight games pointing to Jones wresting control of the Minnesota backfield. And that's especially noteworthy because the Vikings' passing game continues to look like something to limit in the game plan.
Unfortunately for both Vikings RBs, the next two weeks hold negative matchups at Green Bay and Seattle. That should only further favor Jones, the much better passing-down back.
After that, Minnesota gets much better spots for RB-scoring upside:
