Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase went 3-30-0 on 10 targets against the Steelers on Sunday. Just three weeks ago, he went 16-161-1 on 23 targets against this same Steelers defense. QB Joe Flacco struggled throwing for 199 yards with a TD and INT in the game. The Bengals offense was only able to muster 12 points.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
It was a disappointing output for Chase and the Bengals’ passing game in a great match-up against the Steelers.
Chase played nearly every snap (64) and ran 41 routes, the same as teammate Tee Higgins. Higgins fared a bit better going 3-63-1 on 8 targets, but it was still a disappointing output.
The only Bengal that really came through in PPR was RB Chase Brown who went 18-99-0 on the ground but 6-28-0 through the air on 8 targets.
The luster wore off a bit on Flacco who will fall outside the top-15 QBs for the week. He had been a top-seven QB for each Bengals’ game so far this season. QB Joe Burrow should return by Week 14 and give a shot in the arm to the passing attack. Chase, Higgins, and perhaps even Burrow could be league winners during the fantasy playoffs.
The Bengals WRs have the seventh easiest schedule moving forward including positive match-ups over the next two weeks against the Patriots and Ravens.
Burrow could also have an easy time with the ninth easiest QB schedule for the fantasy playoffs.
