Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence was pulled late in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Texans. Jacksonville is up 28-3 and will now look ahead to next weekend's game vs. the Titans for the AFC South title. Lawrence played fine but came away with an empty 152-0-1 passing line. QB C.J. Beathard replaced Lawrence.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence injured his left leg taking a sack in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Lions. We'll pass along an update when we get one. QB C.J. Beathard is Jacksonville's backup.

Update: Lawrence returned for the start of the 2nd half.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson announced Tuesday that QB Trevor Lawrence and RB Travis Etienne will not play in Thursday night's Hall of Fame game, the preseason opener. This is not a surprise. Starters rarely make more than a cameo in the "game." We'll see how much preseason action Lawrence and Etienne get beyond that. In the meantime, get fired up for Thursday night's Jake Luton Show. (QB C.J. Beathard also won't play.)

Update: Lawrence is officially questionable to return. He's trying to get loose on the sidelines.
