Jets LB C.J. Mosley (hamstring) is active for today's game against the Bengals. Use him as you planned to in your IDP lineups. S Ashtyn Davis is also active after entering the day questionable.

Jets LB C.J. Mosley (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. ESPN's Rich Cimini reports that he's "expected to play barring any setbacks." We'll check Mosley's status Sunday morning.

The Jets entered Sunday's game against the Patriots with LB C.J. Mosley (hamstring) inactive and Jarrad Davis (ankle) not yet back from IR. The defense then watched LBs Jamien Sherwood (calf), Quincy Williams (concussion) and Blake Cashman (groin) leave the game. We'll have to watch the whole situation to see who's in for next Sunday's game against the Bengals. If healthy, Mosley should remain a full-time starter. Davis' return would complicate the outlook for Williams, though.

As expected, Jets LB C.J. Mosley is inactive for today's game against the Patriots. He hit the weekend doubtful after missing practice all week with a hamstring injury. There was at least 1 beat report that called him a game-time decision this morning, but we removed the LB from our Week 7 rankings Friday night. Expect Quincy Williams to lead Jets LBs today.

Jets LB C.J. Mosley is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Patriots with a hamstring injury. His absence could push Del'Shawn Phillips into starting duty. Quincy Williams is the only Jets LB we're looking to use in IDP lineups this week, though.

Jets LB C.J. Mosley missed practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury. HC Robert Saleh told the team website that he hopes Mosley will be able to play Sunday against the Patriots. We'll keep an eye on the veteran's status throughout the week. Elsewhere on the defense: The Jets don't expect to activate LB Jarrad Davis (ankle) off IR this week. That keeps Quincy Williams in the starting lineup and an upside spot for tackle collection. S Marcus Maye returned to practice Wednesday after missing the past 2 games with an ankle injury. it's not yet clear, though, whether he'll be ready for Sunday's game, according to the team website.

ESPN's Rich Cimini reports that LB Jarrad Davis has been calling the defensive plays in the huddle at practice lately. "Obviously, it could change," Cimini notes. But it this holds, then it would signal a near full-time role for Davis. We wouldn't bet on him playing more than C.J. Mosley -- who beats Davis significantly in both talent and salary -- but that looks like the Jets' lead duo at the position. And defenses across the league lean more on alignments with 2 or even 1 off-ball LB. Davis carries late-sleeper potential for your IDP draft.
