The league on Monday suspended Broncos LB Dre Greenlaw one game for comments he directed at referee Brad Allen right after Denver's game-winning FG Sunday against the Giants. Greenlaw reportedly plans to appeal and has three days to do so.

The Broncos have opened the 21-day practice window for LB Dre Greenlaw, who spent the past four weeks on IR for a nagging quad injury. That gives the team three weeks to either activate Greenlaw or put him on season-ending IR.

The Broncos have ruled LB Dre Greenlaw out for Sunday's game against the Titans. That's not a surprise after Greenlaw missed practice all week. It appears Greenlaw has had a setback with the quad he injured back in April.

Broncos LB Dre Greenlaw recently suffered a quad tear during a workout, according to NBC Sports Bay Area's Jennifer Lee Chan. Greenlaw could miss "a substantial portion" of the season, with at least a chance he misses the whole thing. Greenlaw signed with Denver in free agency this offseason.
