Kenneth Walker III Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet carried 15 times and drew 6 targets in Sunday's loss to the Rams, which saw RB Kenneth Walker leave early with an oblique injury. He turned that into just 47 yards on the ground (3.1 per carry), though, and 22 yards on 6 receptions (3.7 per catch). That's poor production, and not the kind of efficiency that's going to command touches for Charbonnet once Walker returns. Walker seems like a solid bet to miss at least one more game, but we'll watch for updates leading into Week 12. One other factor working against both Seattle RBs is the league's second-worst remaining schedule for RB scoring. Charbonnet is worth a look where available on the waiver wire this week. But don't expect him to become a roster savior.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said after Sunday's loss to the Rams that RB Ken Walker has a “legit” oblique strain. We should learn more about the injury tomorrow, but Walker seems unlikely to be ready for Thursday night’s game vs. the 49ers. That’d leave Zach Charbonnet as Seattle’s lead back.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker suffered an oblique injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Rams and is officially doubtful to return. He's remained on the sidelines without his helmet. Walker's absence leaves Zach Charbonnet as Seattle's lead back and DeeJay Dallas as the No. 2.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (chest) is not listed on the final Week 10 injury report. He was a full-go on Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday’s practice. The chest shouldn’t be a factor in this weekend’s game vs. the Commanders.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (chest) returned to a full practice on Thursday. It doesn't look like the chest issue will be a factor in Sunday's game vs. Washington. We'll check back on Walker's status when Seattle releases its final injury report on Friday afternoon.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (chest) did not practice on Wednesday. He played just 49% of Seattle's offensive snaps this past week, but it didn't seem like an injury had anything to do with that. We'll see if Walker is able to get back on the practice field tomorrow.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III managed just 16 yards on 9 carries in Sunday's lopsided loss to the Ravens. The 1.8 yards per carry marked the second-lowest average of Walker's career, while it was the second straight game in which he has logged single-digit carries. Also for the second straight game, RB Zach Charbonnet played more snaps. It's tough to know how much we can draw from a game Seattle lost 37-3. But we certainly can't ignore the past two weeks of usage. Walker becomes a shakier fantasy play in the short term, and the remaining schedule could exacerbate that issue. It's the league's worst RB schedule from Week 10 on, according to our adjusted fantasy points allowed. Charbonnet is still worth stashing, though, given his more favorable passing-game role. And a Walker injury would give Charbonnet control of backfield work.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III received 8 carries for 66 rushing yards in Week 8’s win vs. the Browns. His teammate Zach Charbonnet siphoned off a decent amount of work and performed well in the contest, totaling 53 rushing yards on 5 carries with 2 catches for 11 yards as a receiver. Unfortunately for both plays, WR Jake Bobo sniped a rushing TD on a 3-yard run on Sunday. Next week, Walker III will have an opportunity to bounce back against the Ravens.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (calf) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice after sitting out the previous two days. It looks like Seattle was just giving Walker some mid-week rest after his 28-touch outing vs. the Cardinals. Walker will be ready to go for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) will also return for that one after putting in a full week of practice. The rookie figures to mix in for a handful of touches behind Walker.

Seahawks Ken Walker (calf) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. HC Pete Carroll didn't sound worried about Walker when asked on Wednesday, but Carroll isn't exactly reliable when it comes to injury updates. We'll see if Walker practices on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report. RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) was upgraded to full participation on Thursday, confirming that he'll be back for Sunday's game vs. the Browns.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That should have the rookie trending toward returning for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. Charbonnet should take a few touches off RB Ken Walker's plate but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker (calf) was held out of Wednesday's practice. HC Pete Carroll suggested that Walker's absence was precautionary. He's coming off a season-high 28 touches in the win over Arizona. We'll check back in on Walker tomorrow.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. The rookie didn’t practice all week, so it’s possible that he misses more than one game. RB Ken Walker is in for a big workload today.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) is not expected to play vs. the Cardinals today, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. No surprise after the rookie missed practice all week. We'll see if Charbonnet can make it back for Week 8. His absence leaves DeeJay Dallas as Seattle's No. 2 RB -- and Ken Walker in a true workhorse role.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals. He didn't practice all week, so it'd be a surprise if he played. RB Ken Walker is in for a massive workload with his Seahawks 7.5-point home favorites this weekend.

Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) remained sidelined on Thursday. The rookie is in legitimate danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals. That'd mean even more work for RB Ken Walker in this plus matchup. Check back tomorrow for another update on Charbonnet.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker totaled 89 yards and 1 score in Week 6. Coming out of a bye, the second-year back out-carried Zach Charbonnet 19-2 while holding the edge in targets (3 to 2). Walker scored on the opening drive but was held in check for most of the day, finishing with just 3.3 yards per carry. Seattle heads home to face the Cardinals in Week 7.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker III totaled 79 rushing yards and 1 TD on 17 carries in Week 4’s win vs. the Giants. Rookie Zach Charbonnet saw minimal work, receiving 5 carries for 31 yards on the ground with 1 catch for 9 yards in the contest. Walker III has now seen at least 17 carries in each of the last three games. This backfield is very much in the control of the second-year back, though we’ll see if there’s a plan to involve Charbonnet more following the team’s bye week in Week 5.

Seahawks RB Ken Walker ran for 97 yards and 2 TDs on 18 carries in Sunday's win over the Panthers. he added 59 yards on 3 receptions, tying for third on the team in catches. Rookie RB Zach Charbonnet worked in more than the previous two weeks, carrying four times to Walker's eight in the first half and leading Walker 1-0 in targets at the break. Charbonnet finished with 9-46 rushing and 1 reception (for minus-1) among 2 targets. Few matchups are likely to be as good as Carolina, which entered the game ranked 31st in run-defense DVOA. But a Week 4 spot against the Giants looks positive as well. Seattle gets a bye in Week 5.
