The Seahawks have ruled S Julian Love out for Sunday's game against the Commanders because of the hamstring injury that has sidelined him since Week 4. HC Mike Macdonald said Love suffered a setback ahead of Wednesday's practice. Love then missed all three practice days and is reportedly a candidate for IR.

Seahawks S Julian Love (hamstring) and CB Devon Witherspoon (knee) are inactive for tonight's game against the Texans. It'll be the third straight missed game for both players, each of whom entered the night questionable.

The Seahawks will get S Julian Love and CB Devon Witherspoon back in the lineup Thursday night. Neither DB carries a game status on the final injury report for Week 4 after each putting in a full practice Wednesday. Rookie S Nick Emmanwori is doubtful, though, while Edge Boye Mafe is questionable.

The Seahawks will likely have to go without S Julian Love, CB Devon Witherspoon, and S Nick Emmanwori for Sunday's game against the Saints. All three DBs are listed as doubtful after missing practice all week.

The Seahawks have ruled rookie DB Nick Emmanwori (ankle) out for Sunday's game against the Steelers. They'll also likely miss CB Devon Witherspoon, who is doubtful with a knee injury. Emmanwori's set to miss multiple games and reportedly an IR candidate. That move would likely come by Saturday if it's happening.

Seahawks rookie S Nick Emmanwori suffered a high ankle sprain on his fifth play of Sunday's loss to the 49ers and now appears likely to miss multiple games.

The Seahawks selected S Nick Emmanwori with the third pick of the second round. Emmanwori might be the most athletic safety to enter the league. He rocked a 4.38-second 40 time at the Combine, at 6'3 and 220 pounds. Emmanwori also delivered a 98th-percentil vertical, 99th-percentile broad jump, and even an 85th-percentile performance in the bench press. And Emmanwori delivered on the field as well. He started all three seasons at South Carolina and led two of those teams in tackles. Emmanwori also snagged 6 INTs over the past two years. That included 4 in 2024, two of which he returned for TDs. Pro Football Focus graded him 16th in coverage last season among 200 FBS safeties who played at least 200 snaps.
