Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
The Cardinals are using WR Rondale Moore all over the formation in camp. “We’ve played him outside and we’ve played him inside, so he’s gotten work at both the X and the H inside,” WRs coach Shawn Jefferson said. “You’re going to see him in a bunch of positions, even in the backfield, coming out of the backfield. He’s one of those guys who can do it all." We'd be surprised if the 180-pound Moore played much on the outside this season, but it's at least encouraging to hear that his role has expanded from a mostly quiet rookie season. Moore is well worth a shot at his 13th-round ADP.
Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury singled out WR Rondale Moore when asked for a young player who's flashed this offseason, according to insider Paul Calvisi. "He's taken real strides," Kingsbury said. Moore was relatively disappointing as a rookie, at least in part because of a minuscule 1.2-yard average depth of target. It sounds like he'll be in a more diverse role in 2022. And there's opportunity available with WR Christian Kirk gone and WR DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first 6 games of the season. Moore is worth a shot at his WR58 ADP in FFPC best-ball drafts.
Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury talked up a more diverse role for WR Rondale Moore. “We utilized him in different ways than we will this year,” Kingsbury said. “We kind of got it to him in space and did some things and used him on some check downs, but he’s a dynamic route runner. I think that’s what people are going to see. He’s really good getting out of his cuts, good at the top of routes, so I think people are going to see a different side of him.” Moore will get a chance to establish himself early in the season because of DeAndre Hopkins’ 6-game suspension. The 2nd-year man currently projects as a top-50 PPR WR.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (ankle) is active for tonight's Wild Card game vs. the Rams. It'll be the rookie's first action since Week 15. Moore figures to be 4th in line for snaps behind WRs Christian Kirk, A.J. Green and Antoine Wesley.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (ankle) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Rams. Limited in practice all week, the rookie is considered a game-time decision. Even if active, Moore should be off your radar in DFS contests.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (ankle) was limited in Thursday's practice. The rookie has been sidelined since Week 15 and would be Arizona's #4 WR if able to return for Monday night's Wild Card game vs. the Rams.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (ankle) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. The rookie has now missed the past 3 weeks and is uncertain for the start of the playoffs. Christian Kirk, A.J. Green and Antoine Wesley will continue to operate as Arizona’s top 3 WRs this weekend.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (ankle) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cowboys. Christian Kirk, A.J. Green and Antoine Wesley will continue to operate as Arizona’s top 3 WRs.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cowboys after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. He’s remained Arizona’s #4 WR and isn’t a viable fantasy option.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore is inactive for tonight's game vs. the Colts. Christian Kirk, A.J. Green and Antoine Wesley will serve as Arizona's top 3 WRs, just as they did last week.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Colts. The rookie didn't practice all week but will be a game-time decision, HC Kliff Kingsbury said Thursday. Moore remained Arizona's #4 WR last week and isn't a viable fantasy play.
Cardinals WR Rondale Moore has missed the first 2 practices of the week with an ankle injury. The rookie remained Arizona's #4 WR last week, even with DeAndre Hopkins out, so he's not a viable fantasy play even if he manages to suit up vs. the Colts on Saturday night.
ESPN's Adam Schefter hears that Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) "could be back" for the NFC Championship or Super Bowl, but that it'd be "unrealistic" to expect him back any sooner. That jibes with the 6-week timetable for return we got for Hopkins earlier this week. We'll see how Arizona deploys WRs Christian Kirk, A.J. Green, Rondale Moore and Antoine Wesley vs. the Lions today.
Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins is set for surgery to repair a torn MCL, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hopkins is expected to be sidelined for 6 weeks, so he'll probably need Arizona to reach the NFC Championship to have a chance to play again this season. The last 2 games Hopkins missed, the Cardinals used A.J. Green and Antoine Wesley as their primary outside WRs, with Christian Kirk in the slot.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals expect WR DeAndre Hopkins to miss the rest of the regular season with a knee sprain. The team is "hopeful to get him back at some point in the postseason." It's worth noting here that NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Hopkins is "expected to miss Sunday and likely more." Those 2 reports don't necessarily clash, but might be reason to wait before dropping Hopkins from your roster right away if you can help it. However long he's out, Hopkins' absence can only help the target outlooks for the team's other pass-catchers. Christian Kirk and A.J. Green both look like top-30 options across fantasy formats for Sunday's game at Detroit.
Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 13, following Arizona's Week 12 bye. Last week, A.J. Green and Antoine Wesley operated as the Cardinals' primary outside WRs, with Christian Kirk in the slot. Rondale Moore was the #4 WR.
Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He didn’t practice all week, so don’t be surprised if he’s out through Arizona’s Week 12 bye. WR Rondale Moore (neck, concussion) is active and will join A.J. Green and Christian Kirk as the Cardinals’ top 3 WRs.
Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) is "unlikely" to play vs. the Panthers today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We got a similar report from ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday night, so it's safe to assume that Hopkins will be inactive later today. WR Rondale Moore (neck, concussion) is expected to play, per Rapoport. Moore will join A.J. Green and Christian Kirk as Arizona's top 3 WRs.
