Tee Higgins Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ribs) is expected to play vs. the Seahawks on Sunday, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports. Higgins' rib injury is a pain-management issue, so there's a chance that he's able to play a full allotment of snaps. But there's still elevated risk to using him in Week 6 fantasy lineups. See where Higgins sits in the WR Rankings.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ribs) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday. But HC Zac Taylor labeled Higgins a game-time decision. "It’s really just tolerating the pain," Higgins said Friday. "It’s probably going to be like this for the rest of the season until I can heal up for months.” We'll look for further updates on Higgins' status and will get Cincinnati's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rib) remained limited in Thursday's practice. But he said afterward that it’s looking “promising” for him to play Sunday vs. the Seahawks. We'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ribs) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited last Friday before missing the Cardinals game. Higgins is uncertain for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks. We'll keep you updated on his status over the next few days.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rib) is considered "day-to-day" this week, HC Zac Taylor said Monday. Higgins returned to a limited practice last Friday, so he seems to have some chance to play vs. the Seahawks this weekend. We'll track his status throughout the week.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rib) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. He returned to a limited practice on Friday, which seemingly gives him a chance to return for Week 6. Tyler Boyd will serve as Cincinnati’s No. 2 WR today but is just a WR4 in fantasy lineups in a struggling Bengals offense.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rib) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals. He got in a limited practice on Friday, which seemingly gives him a shot to return for Week 6 -- although it's worth noting that Cincinnati has a Week 7 bye. Tyler Boyd will operate as the Bengals' No. 2 WR this weekend and is a fine WR4 play in fantasy lineups.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rib) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals. He got in a limited practice on Friday after sitting the previous two days. HC Zac Taylor said Friday that he'll sleep on it in regards to Higgins' status for Sunday's game, per The Cincinnati Enquirer's Kelsey Conway. Fantasy owners still shouldn't be counting on Higgins in Week 5 lineups, but we'll keep you updated on the situation. We won't get Bengals inactives until a little after 2:30 pm ET on Sunday.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rib) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He's looking like a long shot to play vs. the Cardinals this weekend, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rib) won't practice on Wednesday, HC Zac Taylor said. Taylor labeled Higgins "day-to-day," but fantasy owners should not be counting on him playing vs. the Cardinals this weekend. The Bengals get the Seahawks in Week 6 before a Week 7 bye.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins doesn't expect his rib fracture to cost him much time. "I plan to be back maybe this week, maybe next week," he told the media on Monday. “It’s painful, but we’ll be alright.” It's good news, but Higgins owners should at least plan on being without him for Week 5. It's worth noting that Cincinnati has a Week 7 bye, which might factor into Higgins' return timeline.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins suffered a rib fracture in Sunday's loss to the Titans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Could keep him off the field for a bit," Rapoport added. We should get a more concrete timeline for Higgins' return on Monday. His absence will elevate Tyler Boyd to the No. 2 spot on the WR depth chart, although it's tough to get excited about him as a fantasy option with the Bengals passing game scuffling.

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase roped in 7 of 9 targets for 73 yards vs. the Titans in Week 4. His teammate Tyler Boyd (4 receptions, 26 yards) is the only other player to record more than 2 catches in the loss. That group unfortunately includes Tee Higgins, who saw just 2 catches for 19 yards before leaving with a rib injury. This offense has been off to a slow start in 2023 due in large part to QB Joe Burrow’s calf injury. They’ll have a chance to improve in Week 5 vs. the Cardinals.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins suffered a rib injury in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Titans and will not return. We'll look for an update on the severity of the injury.

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase delivered big for fantasy managers in Week 3 vs. the Rams, catching 12 of 15 targets for 141 yards in the victory. Teammate Tyler Boyd had a productive outing as well, hauling 5 of 9 targets for 39 yards of his own. Those who were frustrated by the lack of huge production from Chase early in the year are surely happy after this showing. WR Tee Higgins, however, hit another skid in primetime action. He drew 8 targets but was only able to record 2 catches for 21 yards on those opportunities, bringing his catch rate to 40% on the season. Hopefully, all of these players will be able to click at the same time in what should be a good matchup against the Titans in Week 4.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini hears that there's "optimism" Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) will be able to play vs. the Rams tonight. He'll go through a workout this morning, per Russini, before a final decision is made. "Burrow is campaigning with the coaching staff and trainers to play, however his status is still uncertain," Russini adds. We'll keep you updated on the situation.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) is shaping up as a game-time decision for Monday night's game vs. the Rams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "He's been feeling progressively better as we've gone throughout the week," Rapoport says. "Took just a few snaps on Friday, a little bit more on Saturday ... If he plays, he's likely going to play in pain." Between the late kickoff and Burrow's struggles so far, he should be on fantasy benches this week. WRs Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are worth keeping in starting lineups in most cases, although they'll move down the WR Rankings if QB Jake Browning ends up starting.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Rams. He was limited in practice on Friday and Saturday. WR Ja'Marr Chase said that Burrow didn't throw much on Friday, but he took all the red-zone snaps in the portion of Saturday's practice open to the media, according to insider Mike Petraglia. "We'll see." Zac Taylor said on Burrow's status for Monday night. "Thought he looked good today." We'll look for further updates on the situation. But between the late kickoff and how poorly Burrow has played so far this season, he's better off on fantasy benches for Week 3. If Burrow can't go, QB Jake Browning would start and downgrade Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to WR2/3 territory.

ESPN's Adam Schefter said it's "fair to wonder" if Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) will play vs. the Rams next Monday night. It wasn't an official report, but we doubt Schefter just pulled this out of thin air. We'll look for further updates on Burrow's status and track his practice participation throughout the week, but his fantasy owners should be lining up a backup plan for Week 3 (and maybe beyond). QB Jake Browning is Cincinnati's backup -- and would obviously be a huge downgrade for all Bengals skill-position players.
