Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring) is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Commanders. He could miss multiple games after hurting his hamstring in Thursday’s practice. WR Tory Horton and TEs A.J. Barner and Elijah Arroyo are candidates for more targets tonight, but all three still qualify as fliers in fantasy lineups.

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Commanders. He injured his hamstring on Thursday and did not practice on Friday. We’re not expecting Kupp to play against Washington but will look for further updates on his status. His absence would likely mean a boost in snaps for rookie WR Tory Horton, who’s flashed on limited playing time this season. Horton is worth stashing in case Kupp is looking at an extended absence, but he’d be tough to trust in Week 9 fantasy lineups.

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp was on Wednesday's injury report with a heel but put in a full practice. He was downgraded to limited on Thursday and is now listed with heel and hamstring issues. It looks like the hamstring popped up during today's practice, leaving Kupp uncertain for Sunday night's game vs. the Commanders. His absence would likely mean a boost in snaps for rookie WR Tory Horton. We'll update Kupp's status tomorrow.

Roughly no one expected Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp to deliver a positive fantasy outing in Monday night's matchup with the difficult Houston pass defense. But the veteran wideout made sure we all took notice. Kupp did gobble up 32 yards with his first catch of the game, opening Seattle's third possession, which eventually produced a TD. But Kupp wouldn't draw another official target. (He did have one negated by penalty.) And he did register the game's worst passer rating by tossing an INT on a first-down trick play in the middle of the second quarter.

The Seattle Seahawks have released veteran WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Seahawks WR Tory Horton has been a buzzy player in training camp. ESPN's Brady Henderson added to that buzz on Wednesday, suggesting that Horton is pushing WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart.

According to Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune, rookie WR Tory Horton jumped up to the first-team offense in Friday’s practice.

The Seahawks selected Colorado State WR Tory Horton with the 167th pick of Round 5 in the 2025 NFL Draft. Horton started his career at Nevada, quickly ascending the depth chart. He then transferred to Colorado State, where a pass-friendly offense turned him loose. Horton had two straight 1,100-yard receiving seasons in 2022 and 2023. He was poised for another big season in 2024, but a knee/hamstring injury kept him out for most of the season. He had a 9.81 Relative Athletic Score (RAS) based on his predraft testing. He also ranked 47th among Combine WRs in 2024 Target Share at 10.1%, and 16th among those WRs in PFF Receiving Grade with an 81.4. He is currently 22 years old with a Breakout Age of 19.8. He ranked 16th among WRs in our Draft Sharks predraft Rookie Model scoring a 6.48. Our Comp for him in our Rookie Guide is Laurent Robinson. At 6’3 with 4.41 speed, Horton has the athleticism and YAC ability to be an instant contributor in the NFL
