              The Bears on Saturday placed S Jaquan Brisker on IR for the concussion that had already cost him four games (with a bye week mixd in). That'll keep Brisker sidelined at least through Week 14 and S Elijah Hicks starting in his place.

              Bears HC Matt Eberflus told reporters Wednesday that S Jaquan Brisker will miss Sunday's game against the Packers. That'll mark five straight games lost to a Week 5 concussion. This is also the third straight season in which Brisker has missed multiple games following a concussion. He sat out two weeks in both 2022 and 2023 before returning to full-time duty in each case. This year's layoff also includes the Week 7 bye, between Brisker's first and second missed games.

He didn't travel with the team after suffering a concussion in the Week 5 win over Carolina. Brisker passed a concussion check during that game and returned but then reported symptoms Monday.
