Isiah Pacheco Out For Week 11

Isiah Pacheco Out For Week 11

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Broncos. That should again leave Kareem Hunt as Kansas City’s clear lead back. He handled 11 of 16 RB carries plus two targets on an 81% snap rate in the Week 9 loss to Buffalo.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Andy Reid said before the Week 10 bye that Pacheco would likely be back for this one, but he's off to a discouraging start. We'll see if Pacheco gets on the field tomorrow. His absence would again leave Kareem Hunt as Kansas City's clear lead back. He played 81% of the offensive snaps and handled 11 of 16 RB carries in the Week 9 loss to Buffalo.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid told CBS' Tracy Wolfson that RB Isiah Pacheco avoided a serious knee injury and should be back after the Week 10 bye. Pacheco remains worth stashing on fantasy benches. Wolfson adds that Kareem Hunt, Brashard Smith, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire will "carry the load" today, which doesn't help us fantasy managers much. We expect Hunt to easily lead the way in carries. But Smith will play in passing situations, and it's possible that Edwards-Helaire mixes in an annoying amount. Hunt still lands safely inside RB2 territory in the Week 9 rankings.
