Bills Throw Surprising Money at Josh Palmer

Bills Throw Surprising Money at Josh Palmer

The Bills have agreed to a three-year deal with WR Josh Palmer. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Palmer will get $36 million, with $18 million of that guaranteed. Palmer spent his first four seasons with the Chargers, falling short of 40 receptions in three of those years. That included last year, when his 2.6 receptions per game trailed Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, and Will Dissly and narrowly led J.K. Dobbins (2.5).

Bills WR Curtis Samuel (rib) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jets. Buffalo will continue to roll with a WR rotation of Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Amari Cooper, and Mack Hollins.

Bills WR Keon Coleman (wrist) put in a full week of practice and is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday's game vs. the Lions. It's unclear how big a role the rookie will play in his first game since Week 9. We'd try to keep Coleman on fantasy benches this week. His return does add some downside risk to the target projections on WRs Amari Cooper and Khalil Shakir.

Bills WR Keon Coleman (wrist) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That should put him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Lions. Coleman adds another target threat to Buffalo's other pass catchers, but the rookie should not be in fantasy lineups in his first action since Week 9.
