Steelers RB Jaylen Warren told reporters Wednesday that doctors have cleared him to return from the hamstring injury that cost him Monday night's game against the Colts. He expects to play Sunday against the Falcons. That should put him ahead of Benny Snell and Anthony McFarland Jr. if Najee Harris (abdomen) is unable to go. The lack of clarity on Harris' status for that high-upside matchup makes Warren a solid waiver-wire addition where available.

Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports that Steelers RB Anthony McFarland might be a candidate to start the season on IR. The team hasn't said what the injury is that kept McFarland out of the preseason.
