The Texans held K Ka'imi Fairbairn out of Saturday night's preseason game against the Buccaneers after he pulled a leg muscle in pregame warmups. HC David Culley said after the game that Fairbairn could have played if they needed him, according to Aaron Wilson of Sports Talk 790. The issue is not expected to keep Fairbairn out for the regular-season opener.
