Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers. He remained sidelined in practice all week and has no timetable for return. Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor will again operate as Tennessee’s top two WRs this week. Both rookies sit in low WR4 territory in the Week 9 rankings.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. That leaves him unlikely to return for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers. Rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike will continue to operate as Tennessee's top two WRs in that one.
Titans WR Chimere Dike followed his Week 7 highs in receptions and yards by resetting those marks in Sunday's loss to the Colts. The rookie tallied 7 receptions and 93 yards on a season-high eight targets. He tied fellow rookie Elic Ayomanor in that category while easily leading all Titans in catches and yardage. And Dike also saw a meaningful boost to his playing time at Indy.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Colts. He remained sidelined in practice all week and has no timetable for return. Ridley’s absence again leaves rookie WR Elic Ayomanor as Tennessee’s best target bet, but he’s just a shaky WR4 in a passing game that ranks near the very bottom of the league in most metrics.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. Don't count on him being available for this weekend's game vs. the Colts. Tennessee hosts the Chargers in Week 9 before a Week 10 bye.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. He could miss multiple games with this hamstring injury. Tennessee’s bye comes in Week 10. Ridley’s absence leaves rookie Elic Ayomanor as the Titans’ top WR, but he remains an iffy fantasy play in an offense averaging just 184 passing yards per game.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. We haven't gotten any details on the severity of his injury, but consider Ridley a long shot to play vs. the Patriots this weekend. That'd leave rookie Elic Ayomanor as the No. 1 WR in this struggling offense. Ayomanor sits just 48th in our Week 7 WR rankings.
The Titans fired HC Brian Callahan. He finishes his tenure with a 4-19 record. This year’s Titans are sitting at 1-5 with a league-worst -78 point differential. Tennessee's offense ranks:
Callahan isn’t completely to blame, of course. The offensive line has struggled, the pass-catching corps is underwhelming, and QB Cam Ward has played like a rookie. We’ll see who the Titans tab as interim HC, but OC Nick Holz and QBs coach Bo Hardegree figure to be in charge of the offense. Hardegree has called plays the last three weeks, leading the team to 32 total points. The offense can’t get much worse post-Callahan, but we’re not counting on it getting significantly better any time soon.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley injured his right hamstring in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Raiders. He's remained on the sidelines with a heating pack on the hammy and is officially questionable to return. We'll update his status when we know more.
Update: Ridley has been ruled out.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley delivered easily his best performance of the season so far in Sunday's win over the Cardinals, and it wasn't just a matter of loading up on targets amid a desperate comeback effort. Ridley tallied 5 receptions for 131 yards on 10 targets, leading the team in each category and nearly tripling his nearest teammate in yardage.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (knee, elbow) is active for today’s game against the Cardinals. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, so it’s safe to assume he won’t be at 100% for this one. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer said this morning that Ridley will “probably be limited.”
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (knee, elbow) is expected to play vs. the Cardinals today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. "But the team still needs to see how he feels pre-game first," Schefter adds. Ridley got in just a limited practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. He sits 72nd among WRs in PPR points through four weeks.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (knee, elbow) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game against the Cardinals. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. A big disappointment through four weeks, a banged-up Ridley should not be in Week 5 fantasy lineups. His absence would make WR Elic Ayomanor a more intriguing flier.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley (knee, elbow) did not practice on Wednesday. Although there wasn't an injury announced during last week's loss to the Texans, Ridley played a season-low 54% of the snaps in that one. Even a healthy Ridley has been a major bust so far this season, so hopefully you don't need him in Week 5 fantasy lineups. His absence would open up more target opportunity for WR Elic Ayomanor.
There was some optimism ahead of Tennessee's Week 4 game in Houston as the Titans felt like they had a good shot at securing their first win against the 0-3 Texans. But another anemic performance by Tennessee's 31st-ranked offense resulted in a 26-0 defeat to drop the Titans to 0-4.
Tennessee mustered only 175 yards of offense and failed to run a single play in the red zone despite trailing the game by only six points in the fourth quarter.
Titans HC Brian Callahan is handing off play-calling duties to QBs coach Bo Hardegree. It's an interesting decision to go with Hardegree rather than OC Nick Holz. The Titans offense has been a mess through three games, ranking 28th in points, 31st in total yards, and dead last in yards per play. The offensive line has struggled with injuries to OT J.C. Latham and G Kevin Zeitler, while WR Calvin Ridley has been far too quiet. Hardegree's only play-calling experience came in nine games for the 2023 Raiders as interim OC. That team averaged 22.9 points per game under Hardegree -- up from 15.8 over the first eight games. We'll see what Hardegree does for the Titans going forward, but it's tough to imagine the offense getting any worse. The unit should at least benefit from an easier schedule after Week 4. Tennessee has opened with a gauntlet of defenses: Broncos, Rams, Colts, Texans.
Titans rookie WR Elic Ayomanor caught his first career TD pass in Sunday's loss to the Rams. That 9-yard TD capped a 4-56-1 receiving line on six targets. Ayomanor tied Chig Okonkwo and Calvin Ridley for the team lead in that category.
Titans WR Calvin Ridley hauled in all three of his targets for 50 yards in Tennessee’s Week 1 preseason contest against the Buccaneers on Saturday. His rapport with rookie QB Cam Ward continues to grow, an encouraging sign for both the Tennessee offense and fantasy football drafters.
