Titans WR Chimere Dike crashed back to earth in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers. The rookie caught only 1 of 3 targets for 5 yards.

Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers. He remained sidelined in practice all week and has no timetable for return. Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor will again operate as Tennessee’s top two WRs this week. Both rookies sit in low WR4 territory in the Week 9 rankings.

Titans WR Calvin Ridley (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. That leaves him unlikely to return for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers. Rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike will continue to operate as Tennessee's top two WRs in that one.

Titans WR Chimere Dike followed his Week 7 highs in receptions and yards by resetting those marks in Sunday's loss to the Colts. The rookie tallied 7 receptions and 93 yards on a season-high eight targets. He tied fellow rookie Elic Ayomanor in that category while easily leading all Titans in catches and yardage. And Dike also saw a meaningful boost to his playing time at Indy.

The Titans waived injured WR Treylon Burks on Monday. He sustained a broken collarbone in practice on the 26th. The Titans will move forward with Calvin Ridley as the clear No. 1 WR, with Tyler Lockett, Van Jefferson, Elic Ayomanor, and Chimere Dike battling for targets.

Titans QB Cam Ward is “everything the Titans hoped for, off the field,” per The Athletic’s Joe Rexrode. Ward has also impressed with his performance in offseason practices.

The Titans selected Florida WR Chimere Dike with the 103rd pick of Round Four in the 2025 NFL Draft. His 4.3 speed along with Dike’s experience offers tons of upside with some coaching and development. Dike spent his first four years of college at Wisconsin in a run-first offense. The 4.3 speedster flashed at times but never was able to take over a game. Transferring to Florida, Dike took a backseat to Elijhah Badger. But he showed his downfield and after-catch ability. He ended the season with 42 catches for 783 yards. His 18.6 yards per catch ranked 17th in the country. He had a 9.72 Relative Athletic Score (RAS) based on his predraft testing. He also ranked 24th among Combine WRs in 2024 Target Share at 19.6%, and 33rd among those WRs in PFF Receiving Grade with a 71.3. He is currently 22 years old with a Breakout Age of 20.1. He ranked 31st among WRs in our Draft Sharks predraft Rookie Model scoring a 5.91. Our Comp for him in our Rookie Guide is Mike Wallace.
