Curtis Samuel Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Washington WRs Curtis Samuel (groin) and Dyami Brown (knee) are out for Sunday’s game vs. the Broncos. WR Cam Sims (hamstring) is listed as questionable. Terry McLaurin, of course, is the only Washington WR that should be in fantasy lineups.

Washington WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) isn't listed on the final injury report. He was a full-go in Friday's practice and will play his usual role against the Packers this weekend. WRs Curtis Samuel (groin) and Cam Sims (hamstring) are out again for Week 7.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs. He appears to be looking at another multi-week absence. WR Cam Sims (hamstring) has also been ruled out. WR Dyami Brown (knee) is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice. With WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) also questionable, Adam Humphries, Deandre Carter and Dax Milne are Washington's only healthy WRs. It's obviously a concern for QB Taylor Heinicke.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel is "week to week" after aggravating his lingering groin injury in Sunday's loss to the Saints, HC Ron Rivera said. Samuel hasn't been able to shake this issue and can be dropped in all but the deepest of fantasy football leagues.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Saints with a groin injury. This is presumably the same issue Samuel has been dealing with since the spring. Stay tuned for an update.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) is active for today’s game vs. the Saints. Samuel played just 37% of the offensive snaps in his 2021 debut last week and got in just 1 limited practice this week. He’s a shaky fantasy play.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) is expected to play vs. the Saints today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Samuel played just 37% of the offensive snaps in his 2021 debut last week and got in just 1 limited practice this week. He's not a viable fantasy option until we know he's at least close to 100%.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Saints. He only got in a limited practice on Friday after playing just 37% of the offensive snaps last week. He’s not a fantasy option until we know he’s at least close to fully healthy. WRs Dyami Brown (knee) and Cam Sims (hamstring) are out for Week 5.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. It's unclear if he suffered a setback last week or is simply getting some time off. Either way, Samuel shouldn't be in your Week 5 fantasy plans after playing limited snaps in his 2021 debut last week.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) did not practice on Wednesday. "We have to be cautious with it," HC Ron Rivera said, referring to Samuel's groin injury. Samuel played just 37% of the offensive snaps in his Washington debut last week and can't be trusted in fantasy lineups until we see him in something close to a full-time role.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) will make his 2021 debut against the Falcons on Sunday, HC Ron Rivera said. Samuel made it through all 3 practices this week without issue with that groin. It's unclear how big a role he'll play after missing much of the offseason, so Samuel shouldn't be in Week 4 fantasy lineups. But he's worth stashing in fantasy leagues of 12+ teams.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) has been activated from IR and will practice on Wednesday, according to The Washington Post's Nicki Jhabvala. Samuel has barely practiced since injuring his groin back in June. He appeared to aggravate the injury a few days prior to the season opener. We'll see if the issue is finally behind him now. Samuel is a fine stash in deeper fantasy leagues but shouldn't be in starting lineups until we know he's a full go.

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) has been placed on IR. So he'll miss at least the first 3 games of the season with this groin injury that's lingered since spring OTAs. Samuel isn't a must-hold in fantasy leagues without an IR spot. His absence should move rookie WR Dyami Brown into the starting lineup, although Washington might rotate him with WR Cam Sims. Adam Humphries will be the slot receiver.
