The Dolphins mustered just six points in Thursday night's loss to the Ravens, but WR Jaylen Waddle still came away with a nice fantasy outing. He hauled in six of nine targets for 82 yards. And he should have had another 36-yarder, but it was negated by a bogus tripping call on RB Ollie Gordon. Waddle accounted for 31% of Miami's receiving yardage in this one. His nine targets ranked second to only RB De'Von Achane's 10 and were a 22.5% share.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa completed 20 of 26 passes for 205 yards and 4 TDs in Sunday's surprising win over Atlanta. Miami's 34 points set a season high.
Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (hamstring/rest) is off the final injury report. He was added on Thursday and limited in practice but put in a full workout on Friday. Waddle should be ready for his usual role in this weekend’s game vs. the Falcons.
Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle was added to the injury report on Thursday, limited in practice, and listed with "hamstrings/rest." We're guessing he's dealing with hamstring soreness more than an injury -- but it's concerning nonetheless. We'll see what Waddle does in Friday's practice and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons.
There's a wind advisory in effect in Cleveland until noon ET. The worst of it will be gone by kickoff, but we're still looking at winds around 20 mph with gusts of 30-35 for today's Dolphins-Browns game. There's also likely to be rain during this game. Ugly weather -- and certainly enough to impact the offenses. The over/under on this game has dropped from 39.5 on Thursday to 34.5. That's the lowest for any game this season. Expect both teams to lean more on the run and short-passing games. We'd avoid both QBs and Ks from this game. We've also moved Jaylen Waddle down the Week 7 WR rankings, although he remains in WR2 territory.
Dolphins TE Darren Waller collected 5 catches, 78 yards, and 1 score in Week 5. All of his production surfaced in the first half of a three-point loss at Carolina.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is believed to have suffered a dislocated knee in Monday night's game vs. the Jets, according to multiple reports. He was transported from the stadium to the hospital to confirm that diagnosis and start getting treatment. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport notes that this injury "often comes with multiple ligament tears." Hill's 2025 season is over, and it's fair to wonder about his football career. He turns 32 in March.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill suffered a gruesome left knee injury in the third quarter of Monday night's game vs. the Jets. Trainers rushed to stabilize the knee in an air cast before Hill was carted off the field. This looks like a season-ending injury, but we'll update Hill's status when we know more. It's a huge loss for the Dolphins offense and will open up considerable target opportunity for WRs Jaylen Waddle, Malik Washington, and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, TE Darren Waller, and RB De'Von Achane.
Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) is active for tonight's game against the Bills. He was limited in practice on the short week and listed as questionable, but we've seen no reports about his snaps being limited tonight. See where Waddle lands in the Week 3 WR rankings.
There's "optimism" that Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) will be able to play vs. the Bills on Thursday night, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Waddle is listed as questionable after being limited in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. "Waddle will test his shoulder pregame" before a final decision is made, Rapoport adds. "They hope he is able to go, but no guarantees early on." We'll get Miami's inactives around 7 pm ET tonight. Waddle will carry elevated risk in fantasy lineups if he does suit up. See where he lands in the Week 3 WR rankings.
Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Bills. He was not listed on the injury report on Monday, but he was added on Tuesday and limited in the final two practices of the week. It's possible that Waddle aggravated the shoulder injury he suffered in Week 1. We'll look for further updates on his status and get Miami's inactives around 7 pm ET on Thursday.
Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle suffered an apparent left shoulder injury in the third quarter of Sunday's opener vs. the Colts. He was in obvious discomfort as he worked his way off the field. We'll update Waddle's status when we know more.
Update: Waddle returned on Miami's next possession.
Dolphins TE Darren Waller had a setback with his hip injury before Thursday's practice and is "doubtful" to play vs. the Colts this weekend, HC Mike McDaniel said Friday. It's an inauspicious start for Waller, who came out of retirement to join the Fins in early July. He's not worth rostering outside of the deepest of fantasy leagues. Waller's absence in the opener will just mean more targets for WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and RB De'Von Achane. Julian Hill and Tanner Conner will handle TE duties for Miami.
