Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Texans. He was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable, so it’s safe to assume he won’t be at 100%. RB Gus Edwards is also back from his knee injury for this one and figures to mix in behind Dobbins. RB Kimani Vidal is a healthy scratch, leaving Hassan Haskins as the No. 3 RB.
Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's Wild Card game vs. the Texans. He got in three limited practices this week, so we're expecting him to play. RB Gus Edwards (knee) is off the final injury report after putting in a full practice on Thursday. He looks like the healthier of the two RBs heading into this one. Dobbins remains the better fantasy bet, but this figures to be a split backfield on Saturday.
Chargers RB Gus Edwards (ankle) got in a limited practice on Tuesday. It looks like he has a shot to return for Saturday's Wild Card game vs. the Texans. We'll keep tabs on Edwards' progress over the next few days. He's not an exciting fantasy option in any format but would put a dent in RB J.K. Dobbins' value.
Chargers RB Gus Edwards (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. That could have RB J.K. Dobbins in for a significant workload. But if the Steelers beat the Bengals on Saturday, the Chargers’ game will be meaningless – which could obviously impact Dobbins’ workload. We’ll keep an eye on the situation.
In his first game since Week 12, Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins posted 76 yards and 1 TD on 19 attempts. With Gus Edwards sidelined, Dobbins led the team in snaps (42) and routes (17).
Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Patriots. He’s joined in the backfield by RBs Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins, with RB Gus Edwards (ankle) out. Dobbins has been sidelined since Week 12, so we’re not expecting workhorse usage today. But we are projecting him to lead this backfield, putting him on the RB3 radar.
The Chargers are "optimistic" they'll get RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) back for Saturday's game vs. the Patriots, according to Amazon's Albert Breer. "He's looked really good the last couple of weeks," Breer added. With RB Gus Edwards (ankle) out, it'll be Dobbins, Kimani Vidal, and Hassan Haskins in the Chargers' backfield. Consider Dobbins the favorite for touches, although we'd be surprised if he handled a huge workload coming off a four-week absence.
Chargers RB Gus Edwards (ankle) is out for Saturday's game vs. the Patriots. RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) is listed as questionable. He was designated to return from IR earlier this week, put in limited practices on Tuesday and Wednesday, but did not practice on Thursday. We'll look for further updates on Dobbins' availability for this one. His absence would leave the Chargers down to RBs Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins.
Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) has been designated to return from IR. He'll practice this week and is eligible to play vs. the Patriots on Saturday. Dobbins said a couple of weeks ago that he was on track to be ready for Week 17. We'll keep you updated on his status over the next few days. He'd settle in as a risk/reward RB3 if he ends up playing against New England -- and take RBs Gus Edwards and Kimani Vidal out of lineup consideration.
Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) told the NBC broadcast crew that he expects to be back when first eligible in Week 17. Dobbins didn't need surgery for his knee injury and said the Chargers were playing it safe by placing him on IR. It sounds like he might be ready for a significant workload in his first game back. We'll continue to track his status, but Dobbins could at least be a RB3 or Flex option in a plus matchup against the Patriots in Week 17.
Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) has been placed on IR. Dobbins is dealing with an MCL sprain and will now miss at least the next four games. He'll be eligible to return for Week 17's meeting vs. the Patriots. You could keep Dobbins stashed for that one, but he's droppable if you're in a pinch. Dobbins' absence should leave RB Gus Edwards as Los Angeles' lead ball carrier, but we're expecting him to cede most passing-down snaps to RBs Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal.
