Jordan Love Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) is targeting a Week 5 return, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Though there is a chance he beats that goal," Rapoport adds.

The Packers have downgraded QB Jordan Love to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Colts. That's not a surprising change. He hasn't practiced since suffering his MCL sprain in the Friday night loss to the Eagles in Week 1. Love has seemed like a stronger candidate for IR than to play in Week 2, but we'll see if he actually has a chance to return for Week 3. In the meantime, Malik Willis takes over the offense. The team also elevated QB Sean Clifford from the practice squad Saturday.

Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Colts. He didn’t practice all week. The Packers really don’t want to have to start QB Malik Willis, so they’re holding out hope for Love. But he’s a long shot to play this weekend with what’s been reported as a multi-week knee injury.

The Packers are not placing QB Jordan Love (knee) on IR, HC Matt LaFleur said. That means the team believes there's a good chance that Love misses fewer than four games. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported on Saturday that Love's "initial timetable" for return was 3-6 weeks. It sounds like he's trending toward the short end of that span.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Packers QB Jordan Love's "initial timetable" for return is 3-6 weeks. "And there's some early optimism he could return sooner than later, pending a second opinion," Pelissero adds. Green Bay's bye isn't until Week 10, so that shouldn't factor into Love's return date. It sounds like we should plan on him missing at least the next three games vs. Indianapolis, at Tennessee, and vs. Minnesota. It's worth noting that the Packers medical staff has historically been cautious in bringing players back from injury.

Packers QB Jordan Love has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. There's no damage to Love's ACL. It's relatively good news, but Rapoport confirms that Love "should miss some time." We'll look for a timetable for his return.
