After entering Week 9, averaging a career-high 13.0 yards per catch, WR Wan'Dale Robinson had a vintage Wan'Dale outing, accumulating just 46 receiving yards on 9 grabs in New York's 34-24 loss to the 49ers. Robinson averaged over 14 yards per catch in New York's previous 3 games but was unable to get downfield against a San Francisco secondary that allowed 318 receiving yards and 10.6 yards per catch to Houston's pass-catchers in Week 8.

In their first game since losing WR Malik Nabers for the season with a torn ACL, the Giants debuted a new TE-heavy scheme with mixed results. New York outproduced New Orleans on offense, but ultimately came up short, giving the Saints their first victory of the season. The Giants had 335 yards of offense, but turned the ball over 5 times in their 26-14 defeat at the Superdome.

Giants QB Jaxson Dart delivered a useful fantasy line in his Week 4 starting debut. He completed 13 of 20 passes for 111 yards and 1 score, adding 54 yards and a TD on the ground.

Giants TE Theo Johnson said he's fully recovered from the foot injury that ended his rookie season. He had surgery in December but participated in OTAs this spring.

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan writes that the Giants are “extremely high” on second-year TE Theo Johnson. The 24-year-old completed his rookie season with 29 catches, 331 yards, and 1 TD in 12 games.

Giants TE Theo Johnson (foot) has been placed on IR. That knocks him out until at least Week 18, and it doesn't sound like he'll play in the finale. We'll look for more details on this foot injury and see if it costs Johnson any of this offseason. He can be dropped from all redraft rosters but should stay stashed in dynasty leagues. Johnson had a promising rookie season, quickly earning a significant role and averaging 5.4 targets, 3.6 catches, and 43 yards over his final five games.

Giants TE Theo Johnson suffered a foot injury in Thursday's loss to the Cowboys that's expected to end his season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

After being cut by the Broncos yesterday, TE Greg Dulcich was claimed by the New York Giants. He enters a thin TE room though rookie Theo Johnson has a strong hold on the starting job.

Giants TE Theo Johnson tallied 3 receptions for 51 yards among 6 targets in Sunday's loss to the Commanders. Most of his production came on a 35-yard catch-and-run TD late in the fourth quarter that marked Johnson's first NFL score.

Giants rookie TE Theo Johnson played 52 of the 58 offensive snaps in Sunday's loss to the Eagles, compared with 15 snaps combined for fellow TEs Chris Manhertz and Daniel Bellinger. Yet it was Bellinger drawing the only target among them for the game.

Giants TE Theo Johnson more than doubled his season catch total in Sunday's win at Seattle. He nabbed 5 receptions for 48 yards on 5 targets, ranking third on the team in targets and catches.

Giants TE Theo Johnson (hip) passed a physical and was removed from the PUP list. The rookie made his training camp debut on Sunday.

The retirement of TE Darren Waller leaves obvious opportunity at the position among Giants. And there might be a surprise candidate for significant target share. ESPN's Jordan Ranaan writes that "it looked this spring like [Lawrence] Cager and fourth-round pick Theo Johnson will be asked to fill that pass-catching role." He added that HC Brian Daboll called Cager "probably one of the most improved players throughout the offseason." Not mentioned in the brief write-up: TE Daniel Bellinger.
