Luther Burden Finally Joins Top 3 WRs

        10:45pm UTC 11/16/25

Sunday might have finally brought the change we've been waiting for in the Chicago offense, even if it wasn't obvious in the receiving numbers. Rookie WR Luther Burden supplied an uneventful 3 receptions for 27 yards among five targets. But that tied him for second on the team in targets and catches for the game. And Burden finished well ahead of Olamide Zaccheaus in usage for the first time all season.

        Giants-Bears Weather Update

        3:48pm UTC 11/9/25

The forecast for today's Giants-Bears game calls for sustained winds around 20 mph with gusts up near 30 mph. That's enough to potentially impact play calling (i.e. more running) and passing efficiency. The game's total has dropped from 47 to 45.5. We've docked the projections on both passing games and would stay away from the kickers in this game. See the updated rankings.

        Luther Burden A Full-Go Wednesday

        2:11am UTC 11/6/25

Bears WR Luther Burden (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Barring a setback, he'll play vs. the Giants this weekend. Burden isn't a fantasy option, but his return dents WR Olamide Zaccheaus' value.

Rome Odunze, D.J. Moore, And Olamide Zaccheaus Back At Practice Thursday

        7:20pm UTC 10/30/25

Bears WRs Rome Odunze (heel), D.J. Moore (hip, groin), and Olamide Zaccheaus (knee) all returned to limited practices on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. That should have them on track to play vs. the Bengals this weekend. WR Luther Burden (concussion) remained sidelined on Thursday and is tracking to miss Week 9.

Bears' Top 4 WRs Sidelined Wednesday

        11:42pm UTC 10/29/25

Bears WRs Rome Odunze (heel), D.J. Moore (hip, groin), Olamide Zaccheaus (knee), and Luther Burden (concussion) all missed Wednesday's practice. Burden is unlikely to be cleared in time for this weekend's game vs. the Bengals. We don't have any other info on Odunze, who seemed to make it out of last week's loss to the Ravens okay. Moore has been playing through these injuries for multiple weeks now. HC Ben Johnson labeled Zaccheaus "day to day" earlier this week. We'll see if these guys are able to get back on the practice field tomorrow.

Rome Odunze's Second 100-Yard Outing Not Enough For Bears

        9:19pm UTC 10/26/25

Second-year WR Rome Odunze had his second 100-yard performance of the season, but Chicago's 4-game winning streak came to an end with a 30-16 loss in Baltimore. Odunze led the Bears with 10 targets, also the second time this season he has earned double-digit looks. His 7 receptions and 114 receiving yards against the Ravens led the team.

Luther Burden Leads in Receptions But Still Has a Zaccheaus Problem

        10:33am UTC 10/14/25

WR Luther Burden led the Bears with 4 receptions in Monday night's win over the Commanders. He caught all four of his targets for 51 yards, led by a 37-yard deep ball. WR Olamide Zaccheaus led the team with six targets in a contest that found QB Caleb Williams spreading around his 29 pass attempts. Rome Odunze and D.J. Moore tied for second with five targets. Two other Bears followed Burden with three targets apiece. Despite the reception lead, however, the rookie saw no role growth coming out of the bye.

Bears WR Rome Odunze racked up a 7-128-2 receiving line in Sunday's loss to the Lions. His 11 targets beat his nearest teammate by five. Odunze also accounted for 54.7% of the team's receiving yards and caught the only two TD passes. D.J. Moore ranked second on team in targets (6), receptions (5), and receiving yards (46). Olamide Zaccheaus finished second with five targets but managed just 2 catches. D'Andre Swift was the only other Bear to reach 3 receptions.

Noah Brown Done for the Year?

        12:38pm UTC 12/11/24

Commanders WR Noah Brown is "going to be out for a while," per HC Dan Quinn. In fact, Quinn mentioned the possibility of Brown going on season-ending IR while noting a "significant internal injury." The veteran was operating as Washington’s WR2, but now those snaps will go to Dyami Brown, Olamide Zaccheaus, and Luke McCaffrey. You shouldn’t count on any of those WRs for Week 15 fantasy production at New Orleans. Meanwhile, Terry McLaurin's outlook improves as a fantasy WR2.

Will Commanders Rotate At No. 2 And 3 WR?

Jahan Dotson Looking Like New Slot Receiver

        9:04am UTC 8/11/24

WR Jahan Dotson worked as the Commanders' primary slot man in the team's preseason opener against the Jets. He opened the game in the slot, with Terry McLaurin and Dyami Brown as the outside WRs. According to Pro Football Focus, Dotson matched McLaurin's and QB Jayden Daniels' 11 first-team snaps -- while Brown totaled just four. Dotson went on to play some with the second unit as well, though, after McLaurin and Daniels left. Dotson also remained in the slot when Olamide Zaccheaus replaced Brown for some three-WR sets with the first team. That's especially noteworthy, because Zaccheaus played 61% and 68% of his snaps in the slot the past two years (in Atlanta, then Philly).

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring, thigh) is not listed on the final injury report for Monday night's game vs. the Bucs. WR Quez Watkins (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 3, leaving Olamide Zaccheaus as Philly's No. 3 WR.
