The Jaguars are confident that WR Travis Hunter avoided any "long-term damage" to his knee when he went down in practice on Thursday, according to The Athletic's Michael Silver. It was a non-contact injury for Hunter, but his ACL is intact, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Saturday. The rookie was placed on IR on Friday, knocking him out for at least four games. "The Jaguars are evaluating the best course of treatment over the next two weeks and have no intention of rushing him back," Silver adds. Try to keep Hunter stashed on fantasy benches until we have a clearer timeline for his return.

The Jaguars are placing Travis Hunter on IR because of the knee injury he suffered in Thursday's practice, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The rookie will miss at least the next four games. We have yet to see details on the injury, but it doesn't sound like the team expects it to end his season.

Jaguars WR Travis Hunter was added to the injury report with a knee and limited in practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details on the issue. We'll see if Hunter practices tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders. WR Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) was limited for the second straight practice on Thursday.

After a slow start to his rookie season, No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter had his breakout game in London. Hunter caught 8 balls for 101 yards and his first NFL TD in Jacksonville's 35-7 loss against the Rams. Those were easily the best numbers of Hunter's career, as were the 14 targets he commanded.

Jaguars WR+ Travis Hunter managed just 15 yards on 4 catches in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. But his seven targets ranked second on the team, and Hunter actually led the squad in pass routes for the first time all season.

Jaguars TE Brenton Strange injured his hip last night in the second quarter and did not return to the game. The Jaguars announced that Strange will be placed on Injured Reserve, keeping him out for at least four games. TEs Hunter Long and Johnny Mundt both took snaps last night, replacing Strange.

Jaguars WR Travis Hunter snagged 3 of 3 targets for 64 yards in Monday’s win over Kansas City. He played a season-high 69% of the offensive snaps while mixing in for 39% of the defensive snaps.

Jaguars HC Liam Coen says Travis Hunter will get a "likely uptick" in his defensive role this Sunday against the Bengals, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. The rookie played just six defensive snaps in the Week 1 victory over the Panthers.

WR Travis Hunter led the Jaguars with eight targets in his NFL debut Sunday. He caught six of them (also a team high) for 33 yards. Hunter actually ranked third among Jags receivers in playing time, staying on the field for 63.6% of the offensive snaps and running a route on 81.8% of dropbacks. That number narrowly trailed No. 2 Dyami Brown (84.8%), though, and also fell not far behind Brian Thomas Jr. (27 routes vs. 33).

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jacksonville Jaguars plan to feature first-round WR Travis Hunter primarily on offense in the team's Week 1 opener against the Carolina Panthers. Hunter will also play defense as a rotational CB.

Jaguars WR Travis Hunter practiced on Wednesday and will be ready for Week 1, GM James Gladstone said. The rookie had been sidelined since August 14 with an upper-body injury. "He's on the grass today and rolling full speed," Gladstone said.
