Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Jaguars WR Zay Jones set career highs with 14 targets, 11 catches and 145 yards in Sunday's win over the Ravens. It was just the 2nd 100-yard game ever for Jones, who added a 2-point conversion catch near the end of regulation for the game-winning points. WR Christian Kirk ranked 2nd on the team with 9 targets but caught just 4 for 46 yards. RB JaMycal Hasty and WR Jamal Agnew tied for 2nd on the team with 5 receptions apiece. Hasty, Agnew and WR Marvin Jones Jr. caught QB Trevor Lawrence's 3 TD passes. The next 2 weeks bring upside passing matchups with the Lions and Titans.
Jaguars WR Christian Kirk led the team in targets (9), receptions (8) and receiving yards (76) in Sunday's win over the Raiders. He also snagged the team's lone TD pass. It marked the 1st time since Week 4 that he led the team in targets by himself. WR Marvin Jones followed with 6 targets. He and Zay Jones tied with 5 receptions apiece, though each fell short of 50 yards. TE Evan Engram tallied just 1 catch for 8 yards among 2 targets. Jacksonville visits the Chiefs in Week 10.
Jaguars WRs Christian Kirk and Zay Jones tied for the team target lead with 10 apiece in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Kirk grabbed a team-high 7 catches for a team-high 96 yards. Jones caught 4 balls, tying TE Evan Engram and WR Marvin Jones Jr. for 2nd. No other Jaguar caught more than 1 pass in the game.
Jaguars WR Marvin Jones (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Colts. He apparently hurt his hamstring in Friday's practice and might miss more time. His absence will elevate Jamal Agnew to the #3 WR role behind Christian Kirk and Zay Jones.
Jaguars WR Marvin Jones was added to Friday's injury report with a hamstring. He was limited in practice and is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Colts. Jones was a very fringy fantasy option to begin with, so you should avoid him at less than 100%. Jones' absence on Sunday would be a boost for WRs Christian Kirk and Zay Jones.
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence endured a 2nd straight rough outing in Sunday's loss to the Texans. He completed just 53.2% of his passes and threw 2 INTs, with no TDs. That marks 2 straight games with multiple turnovers after a much stronger start to the year. Lawrence sent 11 targets to WR Marvin Jones, 10 to TE Evan Engram and 8 to WR Zay Jones, who returned after missing Week 4 with an ankle sprain. WR Christian Kirk drew just 3 looks but led Jacksonville pass-catchers in snaps and routes. The Jaguars get a Week 6 rematch with the Colts, who they beat 24-0 in Week 2. Then comes a home date with the Giants.
Jaguars WR Zay Jones (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Texans. He got in 3 limited practices this week after missing last Sunday’s loss to the Eagles. Consider Jones a risk/reward WR4 in Week 5 fantasy lineups.
Jaguars WR Zay Jones (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Texans today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jones was limited in practice all week after missing last Sunday's loss to the Eagles. Consider him a risk/reward WR4 for Week 5.
Jaguars WR Zay Jones (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Texans. HC Doug Pederson said Friday that he expects Jones to play, but it looks like he’s not back to 100% yet. Consider him a risk/reward WR4 this week.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. That seemingly puts him on track to play vs. the Texans this weekend. We'll get another update on Jones tomorrow.
Jaguars WR Zay Jones (ankle) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Eagles. That leaves WRs Jamal Agnew, Tim Jones and Kendric Pryor behind Christian Kirk and Marvin Jones. Kirk, Marvin Jones, TE Evan Engram and RB Travis Etienne could pick up extra volume with Zay Jones out.
Jaguars WR Zay Jones (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Eagles today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Jones injured that ankle early in the practice week but was able to get in a limited practice on Friday. Still, it's unlikely that he'll be operating at 100% today.
Jaguars WR Zay Jones (ankle) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Eagles. He returned to a limited practice on Friday after being added to the injury report and sidelined on Thursday. That gives Jones a shot to play this weekend, but we’d shy away from using him in fantasy lineups at less than 100%.
