Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

7:01pm EDT 9/25/22

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (rib, shoulder) is active for tonight’s game vs. the 49ers. He got in just a limited practice on Friday and carries more risk in fantasy lineups than usual. But Jeudy is available if you were waiting on him.

Pro Football Talk hears that the "current expectation" is for Vikings RB Dalvin Cook to wear a brace on his injured left shoulder and play vs. the Saints in London next week. We wouldn't go locking Cook into Week 4 fantasy lineups just yet but will track Cook's status throughout this coming week. RB Alexander Mattison should be owned in all fantasy leagues in case Cook misses further time.

X-rays on Patriots QB Mac Jones' left ankle came back clean, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "His ankle will continue to be evaluated," Rapoport adds. Jones isn't out of the woods yet, but this is good initial news.

Patriots QB Mac Jones hurt his left leg late in Sunday's loss to the Ravens. He was in obvious pain and headed back to the locker room. We'll look for updates on Jones' status.

Saints WR Michael Thomas is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Panthers with a foot injury. We'll pass along an update when we get one.

Saints WR Jarvis Landry is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Panthers with an ankle injury. Stay tuned for an update.

Rams S Jordan Fuller (hamstring) is inactive for today's game against the Cardinals.

Seahawks S Quandre Diggs (knee) is active for today's game against the Falcons.

Jaguars CB Shaq Griffin (hip) is inactive for today's game against the Chargers.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook injured his left shoulder in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Lions and was quickly ruled out. Cook, of course, has a long history of shoulder injuries. We'll update his status when we know more. RB Alexander Mattison will take over as Minnesota's workhorse.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert suffered a shin injury in the 1st half of Sunday's game vs. Washington and is officially questionable to return. We'll pass along an update when we get one.

Update: Goedert returned in the 3rd quarter.

Bucs RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Packers. He played through this hamstring issue last week, racking up 24 carries and 4 targets on an 87% snap share.

Bucs WR Russell Gage (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Packers. He got in just 2 limited practices this week, so it’s safe to assume he’s not at 100%. But the Bucs need him with WRs Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones out. Gage is in the WR3 mix for Week 3. WR Breshad Perriman is also active for Tampa.

2:59pm EDT 9/25/22

Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Packers. Reportedly dealing with a partially torn PCL, Jones did get in a limited practice on Friday and has a shot to return for Week 4.

2:57pm EDT 9/25/22

Cardinals RB James Conner (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Rams. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and was reportedly a game-time decision, so it’s safe to assume that Conner isn’t at 100%. Consider him a risk/reward RB2.

As expected, Packers WRs Christian Watson (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Bucs but WR Randall Cobb (illness) is active. We’re expecting to see Cobb as Green Bay’s primary slot receiver today, with WRs Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs on the outside.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (rib) will start today's game vs. the Jaguars, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Herbert still carries elevated risk playing through the rib injury, but he's available if you waited on him.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert (ribs) is active for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. It’s worth noting that, per The Athletic’s Daniel Popper, QB Chase Daniel was announced as the starter on the jumbotron about 30 minutes ago. Los Angeles also has all 3 QBs active today, rather than the usual 2. We’ll see if he can figure out who’s starting this game before kickoff.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 4. WR Josh Palmer will again replace Allen today.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa left late in the 1st half of Sunday's game vs. the Bills for a concussion check. His head slammed on the turf, and Tua was woozy when he got up. We'll update his status when we know more. QB Teddy Bridgewater has entered for Miami.

Update: Tagovailoa cleared concussion protocol and returned for the start of the 2nd half.
